¹² And as he approached the gate of the town, behold, a man who had died was being carried out, his mother’s only son, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her. ¹³ And when^[a] the Lord saw her, he had compassion for her and said to her, “Do not weep!” ¹⁴ And he came up and^[b] touched the bier, and those who were carrying it^[c] stopped. And he said, “Young man, I say to you, get up!”
