⁷ The scribes and the Pharisees ^(A)were watching Him closely to see if He healed on the Sabbath, so that they might find reason to accuse Him.

Jesus Heals on the Sabbath

14 It happened that when He went into the house of one of the ^[a]leaders of the Pharisees on the Sabbath to eat bread, ^(A)they were watching Him closely.

^20 (A)So they watched Him, and sent spies who ^[a]pretended to be righteous, in order ^(B)that they might ^[b]catch Him in some statement, so that they could deliver Him to the rule and the authority of ^(C)the governor.
