17 And Jesus (A)came down with them and stood on a level place; and there was (B)a large crowd of His disciples, and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem and the coastal region of (C)Tyre and Sidon, 18 who had come to hear Him and to be healed of their diseases; and those who were troubled with unclean spirits were being cured. 19 And all the crowd was trying to (D)touch Him, for (E)power was coming from Him and healing them all.

Blessings and Woes(A)
17 He went down with them and stood on a level place. A large crowd of his disciples was there and a great number of people from all over Judea, from Jerusalem, and from the coastal region around Tyre and Sidon,(B) 18 who had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases. Those troubled by impure spirits were cured, 19 and the people all tried to touch him,(C) because power was coming from him and healing them all.(D)
20 Looking at his disciples, he said:
“Blessed are you who are poor,
for yours is the kingdom of God.(E)
