³³ And they said to Him, “^(A)The disciples of John often fast and offer prayers, the disciples of the Pharisees also do likewise, but Yours eat and drink.”

³ Then, when they had fasted and ^(A)prayed and ^(B)laid their hands on them, ^(C)they sent them away.

²³ And when ^(A)they had appointed ^(B)elders for them in every church, having ^(C)prayed with fasting, they ^(D)commended them to the Lord in whom they had believed.

⁵ Now she who is a ^(A)widow indeed and who has been left alone, ^(B)has fixed her hope on God and continues in ^(C)petitions and prayers night and day.
