7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, they shall be all [a]thine.
8 But Jesus answered him, and said, Hence from me, Satan: for it is written, (A)Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him alone thou shalt serve.
9 Then he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the Temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence,

9 The devil led him to Jerusalem and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down from here.
