³He went into all the country around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.^(A)

²¹Now when all the people were baptized, and when ^(A)Jesus also had been baptized and was praying, ^(B)the heavens were opened,

²¹When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as he was praying,^(C) heaven was opened
