Luke 21:34-36
1599 Geneva Bible
34 (A)Take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be oppressed with surfeiting and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and lest that day come on you at unawares,
35 For as a snare shall it come [a]on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch therefore, and pray continually, that ye may be counted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and that ye may [b]stand before the son of man.

New International Version
34 “Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life,(A) and that day will close on you suddenly(B) like a trap. 35 For it will come on all those who live on the face of the whole earth. 36 Be always on the watch, and pray(C) that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”
