⁴¹ Then He said to them, “How is it that people say that the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed) is David’s son?^{(A) 42} For David himself says in the book of Psalms,

^44 [a]So David calls Him (the Son) ‘Lord,’ and how then is He David’s son?”
