¹⁵ And they ^(A)threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. What then will the owner of the vineyard do to them?

¹² So Jesus also ^(A)suffered ^(B)outside the gate in order to sanctify the people ^(C)through his own blood.

⁶ He had still one other, ^(A)a beloved son. ^(B)Finally he sent him to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’ ⁷ But those tenants said to one another, ^(C)‘This is the heir. Come, ^(D)let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’ ⁸ And they took him and killed him and ^(E)threw him out of the vineyard. ⁹ What will the owner of the vineyard do? ^(F)He will ^(G)come and destroy the tenants and ^(H)give the vineyard to others.

³⁷ Finally he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’ ³⁸ But when the tenants saw the son, they said to themselves, ^(A)‘This is the heir. Come, ^(B)let us kill him and have his inheritance.’ ³⁹ And they took him and ^(C)threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. ^40 (D)When therefore the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?”
