Luke 2:27-33
English Standard Version
27 And he came in the Spirit into the temple, and when (A)the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him according to the custom of the Law, 28 he took him up in his arms and (B)blessed God and said,
29 “Lord, now you are letting your servant[a] depart (C)in peace,
(D)according to your word;
30 for (E)my eyes have seen your (F)salvation
31 (G)that you have prepared in the presence of all peoples,
32 (H)a light for revelation to the Gentiles,
and (I)for glory to (J)your people Israel.”
33 And (K)his father and his mother marveled at what was said about him.

New International Version
27 Moved by the Spirit, he went into the temple courts. When the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what the custom of the Law required,(A) 28 Simeon took him in his arms and praised God, saying:
29 “Sovereign Lord, as you have promised,(B)
you may now dismiss[a] your servant in peace.(C)
30 For my eyes have seen your salvation,(D)
31 which you have prepared in the sight of all nations:
32 a light for revelation to the Gentiles,
and the glory of your people Israel.”(E)
33 The child’s father and mother marveled at what was said about him.
