Jesus’ Birth in Bethlehem

2 Now in those days a decree went out from ^(A)Caesar Augustus, that a census be taken of ^(B)all ^[a]the inhabited earth.

^5 (A)And he led Him up and showed Him all the kingdoms of ^[a](B)the world in a moment of time.

²⁸ One of them, named ^(A)Agabus, stood up and ^[a]indicated ^[b]by the Spirit that there would definitely be a severe famine ^(B)all over the ^[c]world. ^[d]And this took place in the reign of ^(C)Claudius.

⁶ When they did not find them, they began ^(A)dragging Jason and some brothers before the city authorities, shouting, “These men who have upset ^[a](B)the world have come here also;

³¹ because He has set ^(A)a day on which ^(B)He will judge ^[a](C)the world in righteousness ^[b]through a Man whom He has ^(D)appointed, having furnished proof to all people ^[c]by ^(E)raising Him from the dead.”
