Unworthy Servants

⁷ “Will any one of you who has a servant^[a] plowing or keeping sheep say to him when he has come in from the field, ‘Come at once and recline at table’?

¹¹ He said to them, “Which one of you who has a sheep, ^(A)if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will not take hold of it and lift it out?

¹⁵ Then the Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! ^(A)Does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from the manger and lead it away to water it?

⁵ And he said to them, ^(A)“Which of you, having a son^[a] or an ox that has fallen into a well on a Sabbath day, will not immediately pull him out?”
