Luke 17:5-10
Legacy Standard Bible
5 (A)And the apostles said to (B)the Lord, “Increase our faith!” 6 And (C)the Lord said, “If you have faith like (D)a mustard seed, you would say to this (E)mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and be planted in the sea’; and it would [a]obey you.
7 “But which of you, having a slave plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, ‘Come immediately and [b]sit down to eat’? 8 But will he not say to him, ‘(F)Prepare something for me to eat, and, [c]clothing yourself properly, serve me while I eat and drink; and [d]afterward you [e]may eat and drink’? 9 Is he grateful to the slave because he did the things which were commanded? 10 In this way, you also, when you do all the things which are commanded of you, say, ‘We are unworthy slaves; we have done only that which we ought to have done.’”

Faith and Duty
5 The(A) apostles(B) said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.”(C)
6 “If you have faith the size of[a] a mustard seed,”(D) the Lord said, “you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.
7 “Which one of you having a servant tending sheep or plowing will say to him when he comes in from the field, ‘Come at once and sit down to eat’? 8 Instead, will he not tell him, ‘Prepare something for me to eat, get ready, and serve me while I eat and drink; later you can eat and drink’?(E) 9 Does he thank that servant because he did what was commanded?[b] 10 In the same way, when you have done all that you were commanded, you should say, ‘We are unworthy (F) servants; we’ve only done our duty.’”

New International Version
5 The apostles(A) said to the Lord,(B) “Increase our faith!”
6 He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed,(C) you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.(D)
7 “Suppose one of you has a servant plowing or looking after the sheep. Will he say to the servant when he comes in from the field, ‘Come along now and sit down to eat’? 8 Won’t he rather say, ‘Prepare my supper, get yourself ready and wait on me(E) while I eat and drink; after that you may eat and drink’? 9 Will he thank the servant because he did what he was told to do? 10 So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’”(F)
