23 There will be those who will say to you, ‘Look, over there!’ or, ‘Look, over here!’ But don't go out looking for it. 24 As the lightning flashes across the sky and lights it up from one side to the other, so will the Son of Man be in his day.

23 People will tell you, ‘There he is!’ or ‘Here he is!’ Do not go running off after them.(A) 24 For the Son of Man in his day[a] will be like the lightning,(B) which flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other.
