32 And he said to them, “Go and tell that fox, ‘Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day (A)I finish my course. 33 Nevertheless, (B)I (C)must go on my way today and tomorrow and the day following, for it cannot be that (D)a prophet should perish away from Jerusalem.’ 34 (E)O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that (F)kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! (G)How often would I have (H)gathered (I)your children together (J)as a hen gathers her brood (K)under her wings, and (L)you were not willing!

32 He replied, “Go tell that fox, ‘I will keep on driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.’(A) 33 In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet(B) can die outside Jerusalem!
34 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings,(C) and you were not willing.
