14 But (A)the ruler of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus (B)had healed on the Sabbath, said to the people, (C)“There are six days in which work ought to be done. Come on those days and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day.” 15 Then the Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! (D)Does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from the manger and lead it away to water it? 16 And ought not this woman, (E)a daughter of Abraham whom (F)Satan bound for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?”

15 The Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! Doesn’t each of you on the Sabbath untie your ox or donkey from the stall and lead it out to give it water?(D) 16 Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham,(E) whom Satan(F) has kept bound for eighteen long years, be set free on the Sabbath day from what bound her?”
