Acknowledging Christ

⁸ “And I say to you, anyone who acknowledges^(A) me before others, the Son of Man^(B) will also acknowledge him before the angels of God,^(C)

⁹ If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,”^(A) and believe in your heart^(B) that God raised him from the dead,^(C) you will be saved. ¹⁰ One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.

⁵ “In the same way, the one who conquers^(A) will be dressed in white clothes,^(B) and I will never erase his name from the book of life^(C) but will acknowledge his name before my Father and before his angels.^(D)
