²⁹ And do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, nor ^(A)be worried.

³¹ Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’

³⁵ And he said to them, ^(A)“When I sent you out with no moneybag or knapsack or sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “Nothing.”

Do Not Be Anxious

²² And he said to his disciples, ^(A)“Therefore I tell you, ^(B)do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor about your body, what you will put on.

⁷ And remain in the same house, eating and drinking what they provide, for ^(A)the laborer deserves his wages. Do not go from house to house. ⁸ Whenever you enter a town and they receive you, eat what is set before you.
