23 For life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing. 24 Consider the (A)ravens, that they neither sow nor reap; they have no storeroom nor (B)barn, and yet God feeds them; how much more valuable you are than the birds! 25 And which of you by worrying can add a [a](C)day to his [b]life’s span? 26 Therefore if you cannot do even a very little thing, why do you worry about the other things? 27 Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither labor nor [c]spin; but I tell you, not even (D)Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. 28 Now if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you? (E)You of little faith! 29 And do not [d]seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, and do not (F)keep worrying. 30 For [e]all these things are what the nations of the world [f]eagerly seek; and your Father knows that you need these things.

Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor(B) was dressed like one of these. 28 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you—you of little faith!(C) 29 And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. 30 For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father(D) knows that you need them.(E)
