³⁹ Then the Lord^(A) said to him, “Now then, you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside you are full of greed and wickedness.^(B)

⁸ Come near to God and he will come near to you.^(A) Wash your hands,^(B) you sinners, and purify your hearts,^(C) you double-minded.^(D)

¹⁵ To the pure, all things are pure,^(A) but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure.^(B) In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.^(C)

²¹ You have no part or share^(A) in this ministry, because your heart is not right^(B) before God. ²² Repent^(C) of this wickedness and pray to the Lord in the hope that he may forgive you for having such a thought in your heart. ²³ For I see that you are full of bitterness and captive to sin.”

³ Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan^(A) has so filled your heart^(B) that you have lied to the Holy Spirit^(C) and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land?^(D)
