²⁹ But wishing ^(A)to justify himself, he said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”

⁹ And He also told this parable to some people who ^(A)trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and ^(B)viewed others with contempt:

¹⁴ I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other, ^(A)for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
