¹⁷The Seventy^[a]^(A) returned with joy, saying,^(B) “Lord, even the demons^(C) submit to us in Your name.”^(D)

¹⁸He said to them, “I watched Satan^(E) fall from heaven like a lightning flash.^(F)

¹⁷The seventy-two^(A) returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.”^(B)

¹⁸He replied, “I saw Satan^(C) fall like lightning from heaven.^(D)

¹⁷And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

¹⁸And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
