49 for the Mighty One has done great things(A) for me—
holy is his name.(B)
50 His mercy extends to those who fear him,
from generation to generation.(C)
51 He has performed mighty deeds with his arm;(D)
he has scattered those who are proud in their inmost thoughts.(E)
52 He has brought down rulers from their thrones
but has lifted up the humble.(F)
53 He has filled the hungry with good things(G)
but has sent the rich away empty.

52 He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.
53 He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.
