8 Og det skete i Tiden der efter, at han rejste igennem Byer og Landsbyer og prædikede og forkyndte Evangeliet om Guds Rige, og med ham de tolv 2 og nogle Kvinder, som vare helbredte fra onde Ånder og Sygdomme, nemlig: Maria, der kaldes Magdalene, af hvem syv onde Ånder vare udfarne; 3 og Johanna, Herodes's Husfoged Kuzas Hustru, og Susanna og mange andre, som tjente dem med, hvad de ejede.
4 Men da en stor Skare kom sammen, og de droge til ham fra de forskellige Byer, sagde han ved en Lignelse: 5 "En Sædemand gik ud at så sin Sæd; og idet han såede, faldt noget ved Vejen og blev nedtrådt, og Himmelens Fugle åde det op. 6 Og noget faldt på Klippen; og da det voksede op, visnede det, fordi det ikke havde Væde. 7 Og noget faldt midt iblandt Torne, og Tornene voksede op med og kvalte det. 8 Og noget faldt i den gode Jord, og det voksede op og bar hundrede Fold Frugt." Da han sagde dette, råbte han: "Den, som har Øren at høre med, han høre!"
9 Men hans Disciple spurgte ham, hvad denne Lignelse skulde betyde. 10 Og han sagde: "Eder er det givet at kende Guds Riges Hemmeligheder, men de andre i Lignelser, for at de, skønt seende, ikke skulle se, og, skønt hørende, ikke skulle forstå.
11 Men dette er Lignelsen: Sæden er Guds Ord. 12 Men de ved Vejen ere de, som høre det; derefter kommer Djævelen og tager Ordet bort af deres Hjerte, for at de ikke skulle tro og blive frelste. 13 Men de på Klippen ere de, som modtage Ordet med Glæde, når de høre det, og disse have ikke Rod; de tro til en Tid og falde fra i Fristelsens Tid. 14 Men det, som faldt iblandt Torne, det er dem, som have hørt og så gå hen og kvæles under Livets Bekymringer og Rigdom og Nydelser og ikke bære moden Frugt. 15 Men det i den gode Jord, det er dem, som, når de have hørt Ordet, beholde det i et smukt og godt Hjerte og bære Frugt i Udholdenhed.
16 Men ingen, som tænder et Lys, skjuler det med et Kar eller sætter det under en Bænk; men han sætter det på en Lysestage, for at de, som komme ind, kunne se Lyset. 17 Thi der er ikke noget skjult, som jo skal blive åbenbart; og ikke noget lønligt, som jo skal blive kendt og komme for Lyset. 18 Ser derfor til, hvorledes I høre; thi den, som har, ham skal der gives; og den, som ikke har, fra ham skal endog det tages, han synes at have."
19 Men hans Moder og Brødre kom til ham og kunde ikke nå frem til ham for Skaren. 20 Og det blev ham meddelt: "Din Moder og dine Brødre stå udenfor og begære at se dig." 21 Men han svarede og sagde til dem: "Min Moder og mine Brødre ere disse, som høre Guds Ord og gøre efter det."
22 Og det skete en af de Dage, at han gik om Bord i et Skib tillige med sine Disciple, og han sagde til dem: "Lader os fare over til hin Side af Søen;" og de sejlede ud. 23 Men medens de sejlede, faldt han i Søvn; og en Stormvind for ned over Søen, og Skibet blev fuldt af Vand, og de vare i Fare. 24 Da trådte de hen og vækkede ham og sagde: "Mester, Mester! vi forgå." Men han stod op og truede Vinden og Vandets Bølger; og de lagde sig, og det blev blikstille. 25 Og han sagde til dem: "Hvor, er eders Tro?" Men de frygtede og undrede sig, og sagde til hverandre: "Hvem er dog denne, siden han byder både over Vindene og Vandet, og de ere ham lydige?"
26 Og de sejlede ind til Gadarenernes Land, som ligger lige over for Galilæa. 27 Men da han trådte ud på Landjorden, mødte der ham en Mand fra Byen, som i lang Tid havde været besat af onde Ånder og ikke havde haft Klæder på og ikke opholdt sig i Hus, men i Gravene. 28 Men da han så Jesus, råbte han og faldt ned for ham og sagde med høj Røst: "Hvad har jeg med dig at gøre, Jesus, den højeste Guds Søn? jeg beder dig om, at du ikke vil pine mig." 29 Thi han bød den urene Ånd at fare ud af Manden; thi i lange Tider havde den revet ham med sig, og han blev bunden med Lænker og Bøjer og bevogtet, og han sønderrev, hvad man bandt ham med, og dreves af den onde Ånd ud i Ørkenerne. 30 Men Jesus spurgte ham og sagde: "Hvad er dit Navn?" Men han sagde: "Leion"; thi mange onde Ånder vare farne i ham. 31 Og de bade ham om at han ikke vilde byde dem at fare ned i Afgrunden; 32 men der var sammesteds en stor Hjord Svin, som græssede på Bjerget; og de bade ham om, at han vilde tilstede dem at fare i dem; og han tilstedte dem det. 33 Men de onde Ånder fore ud at Manden og fore i Svinene, og Hjorden styrtede sig ned over Brinken ud i Søen og druknede. 34 Men da Hyrderne så det, som var sket, flyede de og forkyndte det i Byen og på Landet. 35 Da gik de ud for af se det, som var sket, og de kom til Jesus og fandt Manden, af hvem de onde Ånder vare udfarne, siddende ved Jesu Fødder, påklædt og ved Samling; og de frygtede. 36 Og de, som havde set det, fortalte dem, hvorledes den besatte var bleven frelst. 37 Og hele Mængden fra Gadarenernes Omegn bad ham om, at han vilde gå bort fra dem; thi de vare betagne af stor Frygt. Men han gik om Bord i et Skib og vendte tilbage igen. 38 Men Manden, af hvem de onde Ånder vare udfarne, bad ham om, at han måtte være hos ham; men han lod ham fare og sagde: 39 "Vend tilbage til dit Hus, og fortæl, hvor store Ting Gud har gjort imod dig." Og han gik bort og kundgjorde over hele Byen, hvor store Ting Jesus havde gjort imod ham.
40 Men det skete, da Jesus kom tilbage, tog Skaren imod ham; thi de ventede alle på ham. 41 Og se, det kom en Mand, som hed Jairus, og han var Forstander for Synagogen; og han faldt ned for Jesu Fødder og bad ham komme ind i hans Hus; 42 thi han havde en enbåren Datter, omtrent tolv År gammel, og hun droges med Døden. Men idet han gik, trængte Skarerne sig sammen om ham. 43 Og en Kvinde, som havde haft Blodflod i tolv År og havde kostet al sin Formue på Læger og ikke kunde blive helbredt af nogen, 44 hun gik til bagfra og rørte ved Fligen af hans Klædebon, og straks standsedes hendes Blodflod. 45 Og Jesus sagde: "Hvem var det, som rørte ved mig?" Men da alle nægtede det, sagde Peter og de, som vare med ham: "Mester! Skarerne trykke og trænge dig, og du siger: Hvem var det, som rørte ved mig?" 46 Men Jesus sagde: "Der rørte nogen ved mig; thi jeg mærkede, at der udgik en Kraft fra mig." 47 Men da Kvinden så, at det ikke var skjult, kom hun bævende og faldt ned for ham og fortalte i alt Folkets Påhør, af hvad Årsag hun havde rørt ved ham, og hvorledes hun straks var bleven helbredt. 48 Men han sagde til hende: "Datter! din Tro har frelst dig; gå bort med Fred!" 49 Medens han endnu talte, kommer der en fra Synagogeforstanderens Hus og siger til ham: "Din Datter er død; umag ikke Mesteren!" 50 Men da Jesus hørte det, svarede han ham: "Frygt ikke; tro blot; så skal hun blive frelst." 51 Men da han kom til Huset, tillod han ingen at gå ind med sig uden Peter og Johannes og Jakob og Pigens Fader og Moder. 52 Og de græd alle og holdt Veklage over hende; men han sagde: "Græder ikke; hun er ikke død, men sover." 53 Og de lo ad ham; thi de vidste, at hun var død. 54 Men han greb hendes Hånd og råbte og sagde: "Pige, stå op!" 55 Og hendes Ånd vendte tilbage, og hun stod straks op; og han befalede, at de skulde give hende noget at spise. 56 Og hendes Forældre bleve forfærdede; men han bød dem, at de ikke måtte sige nogen det, som var sket.

The Parable of the Sower(A)
8 After this, Jesus traveled about from one town and village to another, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God.(B) The Twelve were with him, 2 and also some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases: Mary (called Magdalene)(C) from whom seven demons had come out; 3 Joanna the wife of Chuza, the manager of Herod’s(D) household; Susanna; and many others. These women were helping to support them out of their own means.
4 While a large crowd was gathering and people were coming to Jesus from town after town, he told this parable: 5 “A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path; it was trampled on, and the birds ate it up. 6 Some fell on rocky ground, and when it came up, the plants withered because they had no moisture. 7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up with it and choked the plants. 8 Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up and yielded a crop, a hundred times more than was sown.”
When he said this, he called out, “Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.”(E)
9 His disciples asked him what this parable meant. 10 He said, “The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you,(F) but to others I speak in parables, so that,
11 “This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God.(H) 12 Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. 13 Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away.(I) 14 The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches(J) and pleasures, and they do not mature. 15 But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.
A Lamp on a Stand
16 “No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light.(K) 17 For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open.(L) 18 Therefore consider carefully how you listen. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what they think they have will be taken from them.”(M)
Jesus’ Mother and Brothers(N)
19 Now Jesus’ mother and brothers came to see him, but they were not able to get near him because of the crowd. 20 Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers(O) are standing outside, wanting to see you.”
21 He replied, “My mother and brothers are those who hear God’s word and put it into practice.”(P)
Jesus Calms the Storm(Q)(R)
22 One day Jesus said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side of the lake.” So they got into a boat and set out. 23 As they sailed, he fell asleep. A squall came down on the lake, so that the boat was being swamped, and they were in great danger.
24 The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Master, Master,(S) we’re going to drown!”
He got up and rebuked(T) the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm.(U) 25 “Where is your faith?” he asked his disciples.
In fear and amazement they asked one another, “Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him.”
Jesus Restores a Demon-Possessed Man(V)(W)
26 They sailed to the region of the Gerasenes,[b] which is across the lake from Galilee. 27 When Jesus stepped ashore, he was met by a demon-possessed man from the town. For a long time this man had not worn clothes or lived in a house, but had lived in the tombs. 28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out and fell at his feet, shouting at the top of his voice, “What do you want with me,(X) Jesus, Son of the Most High God?(Y) I beg you, don’t torture me!” 29 For Jesus had commanded the impure spirit to come out of the man. Many times it had seized him, and though he was chained hand and foot and kept under guard, he had broken his chains and had been driven by the demon into solitary places.
30 Jesus asked him, “What is your name?”
“Legion,” he replied, because many demons had gone into him. 31 And they begged Jesus repeatedly not to order them to go into the Abyss.(Z)
32 A large herd of pigs was feeding there on the hillside. The demons begged Jesus to let them go into the pigs, and he gave them permission. 33 When the demons came out of the man, they went into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake(AA) and was drowned.
34 When those tending the pigs saw what had happened, they ran off and reported this in the town and countryside, 35 and the people went out to see what had happened. When they came to Jesus, they found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting at Jesus’ feet,(AB) dressed and in his right mind; and they were afraid. 36 Those who had seen it told the people how the demon-possessed(AC) man had been cured. 37 Then all the people of the region of the Gerasenes asked Jesus to leave them,(AD) because they were overcome with fear. So he got into the boat and left.
38 The man from whom the demons had gone out begged to go with him, but Jesus sent him away, saying, 39 “Return home and tell how much God has done for you.” So the man went away and told all over town how much Jesus had done for him.
Jesus Raises a Dead Girl and Heals a Sick Woman(AE)
40 Now when Jesus returned, a crowd welcomed him, for they were all expecting him. 41 Then a man named Jairus, a synagogue leader,(AF) came and fell at Jesus’ feet, pleading with him to come to his house 42 because his only daughter, a girl of about twelve, was dying.
As Jesus was on his way, the crowds almost crushed him. 43 And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding(AG) for twelve years,[c] but no one could heal her. 44 She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak,(AH) and immediately her bleeding stopped.
45 “Who touched me?” Jesus asked.
When they all denied it, Peter said, “Master,(AI) the people are crowding and pressing against you.”
46 But Jesus said, “Someone touched me;(AJ) I know that power has gone out from me.”(AK)
47 Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed. 48 Then he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you.(AL) Go in peace.”(AM)
49 While Jesus was still speaking, someone came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader.(AN) “Your daughter is dead,” he said. “Don’t bother the teacher anymore.”
50 Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.”
51 When he arrived at the house of Jairus, he did not let anyone go in with him except Peter, John and James,(AO) and the child’s father and mother. 52 Meanwhile, all the people were wailing and mourning(AP) for her. “Stop wailing,” Jesus said. “She is not dead but asleep.”(AQ)
53 They laughed at him, knowing that she was dead. 54 But he took her by the hand and said, “My child, get up!”(AR) 55 Her spirit returned, and at once she stood up. Then Jesus told them to give her something to eat. 56 Her parents were astonished, but he ordered them not to tell anyone what had happened.(AS)

8 Y ACONTECIO después, que él caminaba por todas las ciudades y aldeas, predicando y anunciando el evangelio del reino de Dios, y los doce con él,
2 Y algunas mujeres que habían sido curadas de malos espíritus y de enfermedades: María, que se llamaba Magdalena, de la cual habían salido siete demonios,
3 Y Juana, mujer de Chuza, procurador de Herodes, y Susana, y otras muchas que le servían de sus haciendas.
4 Ycomo se juntó una grande compañía, y los que estaban en cada ciudad vinieron á él, dijo por una parábola:
5 Uno que sembraba, salió á sembrar su simiente; y sembrando, una parte cayó junto al camino, y fué hollada; y las aves del cielo la comieron.
6 Y otra parte cayó sobre la piedra; y nacida, se secó, porque no tenía humedad.
7 Y otra parte cayó entre las espinas; y naciendo las espinas juntamente, la ahogaron.
8 Y otra parte cayó en buena tierra, y cuando fué nacida, llevó fruto á ciento por uno. Diciendo estas cosas clamaba: El que tiene oídos para oir, oiga.
9 Y sus discípulos le preguntaron, diciendo, qué era está parábola.
10 Y él dijo: A vosotros es dado conocer los misterios del reino de Dios; mas á los otros por parábolas, para que viendo no vean, y oyendo no entiendan.
11 Es pues ésta la parábola: La simiente es la palabra de Dios.
12 Y los de junto al camino, éstos son los que oyen; y luego viene el diablo, y quita la palabra de su corazón, porque no crean y se salven.
13 Y los de sobre la piedra, son los que habiendo oído, reciben la palabra con gozo; mas éstos no tienen raíces; que á tiempo creen, y en el tiempo de la tentación se apartan.
14 Y la que cayó entre las espinas, éstos son los que oyeron; mas yéndose, son ahogados de los cuidados y de las riquezas y de los pasatiempos de la vida, y no llevan fruto.
15 Mas la que en buena tierra, éstos son los que con corazón bueno y recto retienen la palabra oída, y llevan fruto en paciencia.
16 Ninguno que enciende la antorcha la cubre con vasija, ó la pone debajo de la cama; mas la pone en un candelero, para que los que entran vean la luz.
17 Porque no hay cosa oculta, que no haya de ser manifestada; ni cosa escondida, que no haya de ser entendida, y de venir á luz.
18 Mirad pues cómo oís; porque á cualquiera que tuviere, le será dado; y á cualquiera que no tuviere, aun lo que parece tener le será quitado.
19 Y vinieron á él su madre y hermanos; y no podían llegar á el por causa de la multitud.
20 Y le fué dado aviso, diciendo: Tu madre y tus hermanos están fuera, que quieren verte.
21 El entonces respondiendo, les dijo: Mi madre y mis hermanos son los que oyen la palabra de Dios, y la ejecutan.
22 Y aconteció un día que él entró en un barco con sus discípulos, y les dijo: Pasemos á la otra parte del lago. Y partieron.
23 Pero mientras ellos navegaban, él se durmió. Y sobrevino una tempestad de viento en el lago; y henchían de agua, y peligraban.
24 Y llegándose á él, le despertaron, diciendo: Maestro, Maestro, que perecemos! Y despertado él increpó al viento y á la tempestad del agua; y cesaron, y fué hecha bonanza.
25 Y les dijo: ¿Qué es de vuestra fe? Y atemorizados, se maravillaban, diciendo los unos á los otros: ¿Quién es éste, que aun á los vientos y al agua manda, y le obedecen?
26 Y navegaron á la tierra de los Gadarenos, que está delante de Galilea.
27 Y saliendo él á tierra, le vino al encuentro de la ciudad un hombre que tenía demonios ya de mucho tiempo; y no vestía vestido, ni estaba en casa, sino por los sepulcros.
28 El cual, como vió á Jesús, exclamó y se postró delante de él, y dijo á gran voz: ¿Qué tengo yo contigo, Jesús, Hijo del Dios Altísimo? Ruégote que no me atormentes.
29 (Porque mandaba al espíritu inmundo que saliese del hombre: porque ya de mucho tiempo le arrebataba; y le guardaban preso con cadenas y grillos; mas rompiendo las prisiones, era agitado del demonio por los desiertos.)
30 Y le preguntó Jesús, diciendo: ¿Qué nombre tienes? Y él dijo: Legión. Porque muchos demonios habían entrado en él.
31 Y le rogaban que no les mandase ir al abismo.
32 Y había allí un hato de muchos puercos que pacían en el monte; y le rogaron que los dejase entrar en ellos; y los dejó.
33 Y salidos los demonios del hombre, entraron en los puercos; y el hato se arrojó de un despeñadero en el lago, y ahogóse.
34 Y los pastores, como vieron lo que había acontecido, huyeron, y yendo dieron aviso en la ciudad y por las heredades.
35 Y salieron á ver lo que había acontecido; y vinieron á Jesús, y hallaron sentado al hombre de quien habían salido los demonios, vestido, y en su juicio, á los pies de Jesús; y tuvieron miedo.
36 Y les contaron los que lo habían visto, cómo había sido salvado aquel endemoniado.
37 Entonces toda la multitud de la tierra de los Gadarenos alrededor, le rogaron que se fuese de ellos; porque tenían gran temor. Y él, subiendo en el barco, volvióse.
38 Y aquel hombre, de quien habían salido los demonios, le rogó para estar con él; mas Jesús le despidió, diciendo:
39 Vuélvete á tu casa, y cuenta cuán grandes cosas ha hecho Dios contigo. Y él se fué, publicando por toda la ciudad cuán grandes cosas habiá hecho Jesús con él.
40 Y aconteció que volviendo Jesús, recibióle la gente; porque todos le esperaban.
41 Y he aquí un varón, llamado Jairo, y que era príncipe de la sinagoga, vino, y cayendo á los pies de Jesús, le rogaba que entrase en su casa;
42 Porque tenía una hija única, como de doce años, y ella se estaba muriendo. Y yendo, le apretaba la compañía.
43 Y una mujer, que tenía flujo de sangre hacía ya doce años, la cual había gastado en médicos toda su hacienda, y por ninguno había podido ser curada,
44 Llegándose por las espaldas, tocó el borde de su vestido; y luego se estancó el flujo de su sangre.
45 Entonces Jesús dijo: ¿Quién es el que me ha tocado? Y negando todos, dijo Pedro y los que estaban con él: Maestro, la compañía te aprieta y oprime, y dices: ¿Quién es el que me ha tocado?
46 Y Jesús dijo: Me ha tocado alguien; porque yo he conocido que ha salido virtud de mí.
47 Entonces, como la mujer vió que no se había ocultado, vino temblando, y postrándose delante de él declaróle delante de todo el pueblo la causa por qué le había tocado, y cómo luego había sido sana.
48 Y él dijo: Hija, tu fe te ha salvado: ve en paz.
49 Estando aún él hablando, vino uno del príncipe de la sinagoga á decirle: Tu hija es muerta, no des trabajo al Maestro.
50 Y oyéndolo Jesús, le respondió: No temas: cree solamente, y será salva.
51 Y entrado en casa, no dejó entrar á nadie consigo, sino á Pedro, y á Jacobo, y á Juan, y al padre y á la madre de la moza.
52 Y lloraban todos, y la plañían. Y él dijo: No lloréis; no es muerta, sino que duerme.
53 Y hacían burla de él, sabiendo que estaba muerta.
54 Mas él, tomándola de la mano, clamó, diciendo: Muchacha, levántate.
55 Entonces su espíritu volvió, y se levantó luego: y él mando que le diesen de comer.
56 Y sus padres estaban atónitos; á los cuales él mandó, que á nadie dijesen lo que había sido hecho.

8 過了不多日，耶穌周遊各城各鄉傳道，宣講神國的福音。和他同去的有十二個門徒， 2 還有被惡鬼所附、被疾病所累已經治好的幾個婦女，內中有稱為抹大拉的馬利亞，曾有七個鬼從她身上趕出來， 3 又有希律的家宰苦撒的妻子約亞拿，並蘇撒拿和好些別的婦女，都是用自己的財物供給耶穌和門徒。
撒種的比喻
4 當許多人聚集，又有人從各城裡出來見耶穌的時候，耶穌就用比喻說： 5 「有一個撒種的出去撒種。撒的時候，有落在路旁的，被人踐踏，天上的飛鳥又來吃盡了。 6 有落在磐石上的，一出來就枯乾了，因為得不著滋潤。 7 有落在荊棘裡的，荊棘一同生長，把它擠住了。 8 又有落在好土裡的，生長起來，結實百倍。」耶穌說了這些話，就大聲說：「有耳可聽的，就應當聽！」

9 門徒問耶穌說：「這比喻是什麼意思呢？」 10 他說：「神國的奧祕只叫你們知道，至於別人，就用比喻，叫他們『看也看不見，聽也聽不明』。 11 這比喻乃是這樣：種子就是神的道。 12 那些在路旁的，就是人聽了道，隨後魔鬼來，從他們心裡把道奪去，恐怕他們信了得救。 13 那些在磐石上的，就是人聽道，歡喜領受，但心中沒有根，不過暫時相信，及至遇見試煉就退後了。 14 那落在荊棘裡的，就是人聽了道，走開以後，被今生的思慮、錢財、宴樂擠住了，便結不出成熟的子粒來。 15 那落在好土裡的，就是人聽了道，持守在誠實善良的心裡，並且忍耐著結實。
16 「沒有人點燈用器皿蓋上或放在床底下，乃是放在燈臺上，叫進來的人看見亮光。 17 因為掩藏的事沒有不顯出來的，隱瞞的事沒有不露出來被人知道的。 18 所以，你們應當小心怎樣聽。因為凡有的，還要加給他；凡沒有的，連他自以為有的也要奪去。」

19 耶穌的母親和他弟兄來了，因為人多，不得到他跟前。 20 有人告訴他說：「你母親和你弟兄站在外邊，要見你。」 21 耶穌回答說：「聽了神之道而遵行的人，就是我的母親、我的弟兄了。」
平靜風和海
22 有一天，耶穌和門徒上了船，對門徒說：「我們可以渡到湖那邊去。」他們就開了船。 23 正行的時候，耶穌睡著了。湖上忽然起了暴風，船將滿了水，甚是危險。 24 門徒來叫醒了他，說：「夫子！夫子！我們喪命啦！」耶穌醒了，斥責那狂風大浪，風浪就止住，平靜了。 25 耶穌對他們說：「你們的信心在哪裡呢？」他們又懼怕又稀奇，彼此說：「這到底是誰？他吩咐風和水，連風和水也聽從他了！」
鬼入豬群
26 他們到了格拉森[a]人的地方，就是加利利的對面。 27 耶穌上了岸，就有城裡一個被鬼附著的人迎面而來。這個人許久不穿衣服，不住房子，只住在墳塋裡。 28 他見了耶穌，就俯伏在他面前，大聲喊叫說：「至高神的兒子耶穌，我與你有什麼相干？求你不要叫我受苦！」 29 是因耶穌曾吩咐汙鬼從那人身上出來。原來這鬼屢次抓住他；他常被人看守，又被鐵鏈和腳鐐捆鎖，他竟把鎖鏈掙斷，被鬼趕到曠野去。 30 耶穌問他說：「你名叫什麼？」他說：「我名叫『群』。」這是因為附著他的鬼多。 31 鬼就央求耶穌，不要吩咐他們到無底坑裡去。 32 那裡有一大群豬在山上吃食。鬼央求耶穌准他們進入豬裡去，耶穌准了他們。 33 鬼就從那人出來，進入豬裡去。於是那群豬闖下山崖，投在湖裡淹死了。 34 放豬的看見這事就逃跑了，去告訴城裡和鄉下的人。 35 眾人出來要看是什麼事，到了耶穌那裡，看見鬼所離開的那人坐在耶穌腳前，穿著衣服，心裡明白過來，他們就害怕。 36 看見這事的，便將被鬼附著的人怎麼得救告訴他們。 37 格拉森四圍的人因為害怕得很，都求耶穌離開他們，耶穌就上船回去了。 38 鬼所離開的那人懇求和耶穌同在，耶穌卻打發他回去，說： 39 「你回家去，傳說神為你做了何等大的事。」他就去，滿城裡傳揚耶穌為他做了何等大的事。
40 耶穌回來的時候，眾人迎接他，因為他們都等候他。 41 有一個管會堂的，名叫睚魯，來俯伏在耶穌腳前，求耶穌到他家裡去， 42 因他有一個獨生女兒，約有十二歲，快要死了。耶穌去的時候，眾人擁擠他。
醫患血漏的女人
43 有一個女人患了十二年的血漏，在醫生手裡花盡了她一切養生的，並沒有一人能醫好她。 44 她來到耶穌背後，摸他的衣裳穗子，血漏立刻就止住了。 45 耶穌說：「摸我的是誰？」眾人都不承認。彼得和同行的人都說：「夫子，眾人擁擁擠擠緊靠著你[b]。」 46 耶穌說：「總有人摸我，因我覺得有能力從我身上出去。」 47 那女人知道不能隱藏，就戰戰兢兢地來俯伏在耶穌腳前，把摸他的緣故和怎樣立刻得好了，當著眾人都說出來。 48 耶穌對她說：「女兒，你的信救了你，平平安安地去吧！」
耶穌叫睚魯的女兒復活
49 還說話的時候，有人從管會堂的家裡來，說：「你的女兒死了，不要勞動夫子。」 50 耶穌聽見就對他說：「不要怕，只要信！你的女兒就必得救。」 51 耶穌到了他的家，除了彼得、約翰、雅各和女兒的父母，不許別人同他進去。 52 眾人都為這女兒哀哭捶胸。耶穌說：「不要哭，她不是死了，是睡著了。」 53 他們曉得女兒已經死了，就嗤笑耶穌。 54 耶穌拉著她的手，呼叫說：「女兒，起來吧！」 55 她的靈魂便回來，她就立刻起來了。耶穌吩咐給她東西吃。 56 她的父母驚奇得很。耶穌囑咐他們，不要把所做的事告訴人。
