Undret med den stora fiskfångsten
5 En dag när Jesus predikade på stranden vid sjön Gennesaret, trängdes folket för att få höra Guds ord.
2 Han fick då se två tomma båtar som några fiskare lämnat vid strandkanten medan de sköljde sina nät.
3 Jesus steg i en av båtarna och bad Petrus, som ägde den, att skjuta ut den från land så att han kunde sitta i den och tala till folket.
4 När han hade slutat tala, sa han till Petrus: Ro nu ut på djupet och lägg ut näten, så ska ni få så mycket fisk ni vill ha!
5 Herre, sa Petrus, vi har arbetat hårt hela natten men ändå har vi inte fått ett dugg. Men eftersom du säger det, så ska vi försöka igen.
6 När de gjorde det fick de så mycket fisk att näten började gå sönder!
7 De vinkade då åt sina kamrater så att de kom ut med den andra båten, och snart var båda båtarna så fulla med fisk att de var nära att sjunka.
8 När Petrus fattade vad som hänt, föll han ner på knä för Jesus och sa: Herre, lämna oss! Jag är en alltför stor syndare för att vara i närheten av dig.
9 Han och alla de andra blev nämligen förskräckta när de såg hur mycket fisk man fått.
10 Det blev också Jakob och Johannes, Sebedaios söner, som fiskat tillsammans med Petrus.Men Jesus sa till Petrus: Var inte orolig! Från och med nu ska du fånga människor!
11 Och så snart de kom i land lämnade de allt för att följa Jesus.
Jesus botar en leprasjuk
12 En dag när Jesus besökte en av städerna, träffade han där en man som var svårt angripen av spetälska. När mannen såg Jesus, kastade han sig till marken med ansiktet i vägdammet, och tiggde och bad om att bli botad.Herre, sa han, om du bara vill, så kan du befria mig från varje spår av min sjukdom.
13 Jesus sträckte ut sin hand och rörde vid honom och sa: Naturligtvis vill jag det. Nu är du botad. Och genast lämnade sjukdomen honom.
14 Sedan sa Jesus till mannen att inte berätta för någon vad som hänt. Gå i stället till den judiske prästen, och låt honom undersöka dig och ge det offer som Moses lag föreskriver för leprasjuka som blivit botade, sa han. Detta kommer att bevisa för alla att du är frisk.
15 Men ryktet om Jesus spred sig allt snabbare, och stora folkskaror kom för att höra honom predika och för att bli botade från sina sjukdomar.
16 Men han drog sig ofta undan till öknen för att be.
Jesus botar en lam man
17 En dag när Jesus undervisade fanns några av judarnas religiösa ledare och laglärare bland åhörarna. De hade kommit från byarna i hela Galileen och Judeen, och också från Jerusalem. Och Guds helande kraft var över honom.
18-19 Just då hände det! Några män kom bärande på en förlamad man på en sovmatta. De försökte tränga sig igenom folkmassan för att komma nära Jesus men lyckades inte ta sig fram. Då gick de upp på taket, tog bort några takplattor och sänkte ner den sjuke mannen på sovmattan mitt på golvet framför Jesus.
20 När Jesus såg deras tro, sa han till mannen: Min vän, dina synder är förlåtna.
21 'Vad inbillar sig egentligen den här karln? sa fariseerna och laglärarna till varandra om Jesus. Det här är ju hädelse! Vem kan förlåta synder utom Gud?
22 Jesus förstod vad de tänkte och svarade: Varför är det hädelse?
23 Vilket är svårast? Att förlåta hans synder eller att bota honom?
24 Men för att ni ska veta att jag har makt att förlåta synder här på jorden, ska jag visa att jag också kan bota sjuka.Sedan sa han till den lame mannen: Res dig upp, rulla ihop din sovmatta och gå hem!
25 Och genast medan alla såg på reste sig mannen upp, tog sin matta och gick hem och lovprisade Gud.
26 En känsla av både vördnad och respekt grep alla som såg det. Och de lovprisade Gud och sa gång på gång: Det vi har sett i dag är otroligt!
Jesus kallar en skatteindrivare till lärjunge
27 När Jesus senare lämnade staden fick han se en tullindrivare - med det vanliga ryktet om sig att vara en bedragare - sitta vid tullkontoret. Mannen hette Levi, och Jesus sa till honom: Kom och bli en av mina lärjungar.
28 Utan att tveka lämnade Levi allt, reste sig och följde med honom.
29 Strax därpå höll Levi en fest i sitt hem med Jesus som hedersgäst. Bland gästerna var också många av hans arbetskamrater på tullkontoret.
30 Men fariseerna och laglärarna kom med fräna anklagelser mot Jesu lärjungar, därför att de åt med så ökända syndare.
31 Då svarade Jesus: Det är de sjuka som behöver läkare, inte de friska.
32 Min uppgift är att kalla syndare till gemenskap med Gud. Jag vänder mig inte till dem som redan känner Gud.
Frågor om fastan och sabbaten
33 Nästa anklagelse från deras sida var att Jesu lärjungar inte fastade utan i stället festade. Johannes döparens lärjungar fastar och ber ständigt, sa de, och det gör också fariseernas. Men varför dricker dina lärjungar vin och äter god mat?
34 Jesus frågade: Fastar lyckliga människor? Får bröllopsgästerna gå hungriga när de är på fest tillsammans med brudgummen?
35 Men det kommer en tid då brudgummen ska dödas. Då kommer de inte att vilja äta.
36 Sedan använde Jesus denna bild: Ingen river sönder ett okrympt tyg för att göra lappar till gamla kläder av det. Tyget blir ju förstört och inte heller kläderna blir ordentligt lagade.
37 Och ingen häller nytt vin i gamla vinsäckar, för det nya vinet spräcker de gamla skinnen och förstör dem, så att vinet rinner ut.
38 Nytt vin måste hällas i nya vinsäckar.
39 Men ingen som druckit av det gamla vinet tycks vilja ha av det nya. Det gamla vanliga är bäst, säger man.

4 Когда же Иисус закончил проповедь, то сказал Симону: «Отведите лодку на более глубокое место. Если вы все вместе закинете там сети, то поймаете рыбу».
5 Симон ответил Ему: «Господин, мы всю ночь тяжко трудились и ничего не поймали, но раз Ты велишь, я заброшу сети». 6 Когда они сделали это, в сетях оказалось великое множество рыбы, и сети стали рваться под тяжестью улова. 7 Тогда они дали знак товарищам, находившимся в другой лодке, чтобы те пришли им на помощь. Те подошли и наполнили обе лодки до краёв, так что они стали тонуть.

12 Однажды Иисус был в одном городе, где жил очень больной человек, весь покрытый проказой. Увидев Иисуса, он склонился перед Ним и стал умолять Его: «Господи, если Ты захочешь, то сможешь очистить меня».
13 Иисус протянул руку и дотронулся до прокажённого, сказав: «Хочу! Очистись!» И тот сразу же исцелился от проказы. 14 И сказал ему Иисус: «Смотри, не говори никому об этом, а пойди и покажись священнику[b]. Затем принеси жертву за своё очищение, как повелел Моисей, в свидетельство людям, что ты исцелился».
15 Молва об Иисусе распространялась всё больше и больше, и множество народа приходило слушать Его и исцеляться от своих болезней. 16 Иисус же часто уходил в пустынные места и молился.
Иисус исцеляет калеку

17 Однажды, когда Иисус учил народ, там сидели фарисеи и законоучители, пришедшие из всех городов Галилеи, Иудеи и Иерусалима. 25 И в ту же минуту парализованный встал перед ними, взял свою постель и пошёл домой, восхваляя Бога. 26 Тогда всех охватило изумление, и люди славили Бога, и, преисполнившись благоговения, говорили: «Чудные дела мы видели сегодня».
Левий следует за Иисусом

27 После этого Иисус вышел и увидел сборщика налогов по имени Левий, сидевшего на своём обычном месте. Он сказал ему: «Следуй за Мной!» 28 Оставив всё, Левий поднялся и пошёл за Ним.

33 Фарисеи и книжники сказали Иисусу: «Ученики Иоанна часто постятся и молятся, также и ученики фарисеев, а Твои ученики едят и пьют».
34 Но Он ответил им: «Разве можно заставить поститься друзей жениха на свадьбе, пока он ещё среди них? 35 Но придёт время, когда жениха уведут от них, и тогда они будут поститься».
36 Тогда Иисус рассказал им такую притчу: «Никто не пришивает заплату к старой одежде, оторвав кусок ткани от новой: иначе этот лоскут и новую одежду порвёт и заплата от новой одежды не подойдёт к старой. 37 Никто не наливает молодое вино в старые мехи, потому что молодое вино прорвёт их и не только само вытечет, но и мехи испортит. 38 Молодое вино наливают в новые мехи. 39 И никто, выпив старого вина, не захочет молодого, потому что скажет: „Старое лучше”».

Jesus Calls His First Disciples(A)
5 One day as Jesus was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret,[a] the people were crowding around him and listening to the word of God.(B) 2 He saw at the water’s edge two boats, left there by the fishermen, who were washing their nets. 3 He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little from shore. Then he sat down and taught the people from the boat.(C)
4 When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.”(D)
5 Simon answered, “Master,(E) we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything.(F) But because you say so, I will let down the nets.”
6 When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break.(G) 7 So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.
8 When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus’ knees and said, “Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!”(H) 9 For he and all his companions were astonished at the catch of fish they had taken, 10 and so were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, Simon’s partners.
Then Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t be afraid;(I) from now on you will fish for people.” 11 So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him.(J)
Jesus Heals a Man With Leprosy(K)
12 While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy.[b](L) When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”
13 Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” And immediately the leprosy left him.
14 Then Jesus ordered him, “Don’t tell anyone,(M) but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded(N) for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.”
15 Yet the news about him spread all the more,(O) so that crowds of people came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses. 16 But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.(P)
Jesus Forgives and Heals a Paralyzed Man(Q)
17 One day Jesus was teaching, and Pharisees and teachers of the law(R) were sitting there. They had come from every village of Galilee and from Judea and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was with Jesus to heal the sick.(S) 18 Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus. 19 When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus.
20 When Jesus saw their faith, he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.”(T)
21 The Pharisees and the teachers of the law began thinking to themselves, “Who is this fellow who speaks blasphemy? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”(U)
22 Jesus knew what they were thinking and asked, “Why are you thinking these things in your hearts? 23 Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? 24 But I want you to know that the Son of Man(V) has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the paralyzed man, “I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.” 25 Immediately he stood up in front of them, took what he had been lying on and went home praising God. 26 Everyone was amazed and gave praise to God.(W) They were filled with awe and said, “We have seen remarkable things today.”
Jesus Calls Levi and Eats With Sinners(X)
27 After this, Jesus went out and saw a tax collector by the name of Levi sitting at his tax booth. “Follow me,”(Y) Jesus said to him, 28 and Levi got up, left everything and followed him.(Z)
29 Then Levi held a great banquet for Jesus at his house, and a large crowd of tax collectors(AA) and others were eating with them. 30 But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law who belonged to their sect(AB) complained to his disciples, “Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?”(AC)
31 Jesus answered them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”(AD)
Jesus Questioned About Fasting(AE)
33 They said to him, “John’s disciples(AF) often fast and pray, and so do the disciples of the Pharisees, but yours go on eating and drinking.”
34 Jesus answered, “Can you make the friends of the bridegroom(AG) fast while he is with them? 35 But the time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them;(AH) in those days they will fast.”
36 He told them this parable: “No one tears a piece out of a new garment to patch an old one. Otherwise, they will have torn the new garment, and the patch from the new will not match the old. 37 And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. 38 No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins. 39 And no one after drinking old wine wants the new, for they say, ‘The old is better.’”

9 For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:
10 And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.
11 And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.
12 And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
13 And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.
14 And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
15 But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.
16 And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.
17 And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.
18 And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him.
19 And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.
20 And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.
21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?
22 But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?
23 Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?
24 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.
25 And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.
26 And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.
27 And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me.
28 And he left all, rose up, and followed him.
29 And Levi made him a great feast in his own house: and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down with them.
30 But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners?
31 And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.
32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
33 And they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink?
34 And he said unto them, Can ye make the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them?
35 But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.
36 And he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old.
37 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish.
38 But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.
39 No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.
