Achtet aufeinander und vergebt! (Matthäus 18,6‒7.15.21‒22; Markus 9,42)
17 »Es kann nicht ausbleiben, dass Dinge geschehen, die Menschen vom Glauben abbringen«, warnte Jesus seine Jünger. »Aber wehe dem, der daran schuld ist! 2 Es wäre besser für ihn, mit einem Mühlstein um den Hals ins Meer geworfen zu werden, als dass er einen dieser kleinen, unbedeutenden Menschen zu Fall bringt. 3 Nehmt euch also in Acht!
Wenn dein Bruder Schuld auf sich geladen hat, dann weise ihn zurecht. Bereut er sein Handeln, dann vergib ihm! 4 Und wenn er dir siebenmal am Tag Unrecht tut und dich immer wieder um Vergebung bittet: Vergib ihm!«
Die Macht des Glaubens (Matthäus 17,20)
5 Die Apostel baten Jesus, den Herrn: »Hilf uns, dass unser Glaube größer wird!« 6 Darauf antwortete er: »Wenn euer Glaube nur so groß wäre wie ein Senfkorn, könntet ihr zu diesem Maulbeerbaum sagen: ›Reiß dich mitsamt deinen Wurzeln aus der Erde und verpflanze dich ins Meer!‹ – es würde sofort geschehen.«
Der selbstverständliche Dienst
7 »Stellt euch vor«, sagte Jesus zu seinen Jüngern, »ihr habt einen Knecht, der vom Pflügen oder Schafehüten heimkommt. Was tut ihr dann? Sagt ihr etwa zu ihm: ›Komm an den Tisch und iss‹? 8 Doch bestimmt nicht! Ihr gebt ihm den Auftrag: ›Mach mir etwas zu essen, binde dir eine Schürze um und bediene mich bei Tisch! Wenn ich fertig bin, dann kannst du auch essen und trinken.‹
9 Kann der Knecht dafür etwa einen besonderen Dank erwarten? Ich meine nicht! Es gehört doch schließlich zu seiner Arbeit. 10 Das gilt auch für euch. Wenn ihr alles getan habt, was ich euch befohlen habe, dann sollt ihr sagen: ›Wir sind einfache Knechte und haben nur unseren Auftrag ausgeführt!‹«
Nur einer dankt
11 Auf dem Weg nach Jerusalem zog Jesus mit seinen Jüngern durch das Grenzgebiet von Samarien und Galiläa. 12 Kurz vor einem Dorf begegneten ihm zehn Aussätzige. Im vorgeschriebenen Abstand blieben sie stehen 13 und riefen: »Jesus, Herr! Hab Erbarmen mit uns!« 14 Er sah sie an und forderte sie auf: »Geht zu den Priestern und zeigt ihnen, dass ihr geheilt seid!«
Auf dem Weg dorthin wurden sie gesund[a]. 15 Einer von ihnen lief zu Jesus zurück, als er merkte, dass er geheilt war. Laut lobte er Gott. 16 Er warf sich vor Jesus nieder und dankte ihm. Es war ein Mann aus Samarien.
17 Jesus fragte: »Waren es nicht zehn Männer, die gesund geworden sind? Wo sind denn die anderen neun? 18 Wie kann es sein, dass nur einer zurückkommt, um sich bei Gott zu bedanken, noch dazu ein Fremder?« 19 Zu dem Samariter aber sagte er: »Steh wieder auf! Dein Glaube hat dich geheilt.«
Wann kommt Gottes Reich? (Matthäus 24,23‒28)
20 Die Pharisäer wollten von Jesus wissen: »Wann wird denn Gottes Reich kommen?« Er antwortete ihnen: »Gottes Reich kann man nicht sehen wie ein irdisches Reich. 21 Niemand wird sagen können: ›Hier ist es!‹ oder ›Dort ist es!‹ Denn Gottes Reich ist schon jetzt da – mitten unter euch.«
22 Zu seinen Jüngern aber sagte er: »Die Zeit wird kommen, wo ihr alles dafür geben würdet, auch nur einen einzigen Tag die Herrlichkeit des Menschensohnes mitzuerleben. Aber dieser Wunsch wird sich nicht erfüllen.
23 Man wird euch zwar einreden wollen: ›Seht doch! Hier ist er!‹ oder ›Dort ist er!‹ Geht niemals dorthin und lauft solchen Leuten nicht nach! 24 Denn wenn der Tag da ist, kommt der Menschensohn für alle sichtbar – wie ein Blitz, der den ganzen Horizont erhellt. 25 Aber vorher muss der Menschensohn noch viel leiden und es erdulden, dass ihn die Menschen dieser Generation von sich stoßen.«
26 »Wenn der Menschensohn kommt, wird es sein wie zur Zeit von Noah. 27 Die Menschen aßen, tranken und heirateten, wie sie es immer taten. So ging es, bis Noah in die Arche stieg. Dann kam die große Flut, und keiner von ihnen überlebte.
28 Es wird genauso sein wie zu Lots Zeiten. Auch damals ging alles seinen gewohnten Gang: Die Menschen aßen und tranken, kauften und verkauften, pflanzten und bauten. 29 So ging es bis zu dem Tag, an dem Lot die Stadt Sodom verließ. Da regnete es Feuer und Schwefel vom Himmel, und alle kamen um.
30 Genauso wird es sein, wenn der Menschensohn erscheint. 31 Wer sich dann gerade auf dem Dach seines Hauses aufhält, soll nicht erst im Haus seine Sachen für die Flucht packen. Und dasselbe gilt für den, der auf dem Feld arbeitet: Er soll nicht erst in sein Haus zurückkehren.[b] 32 Denkt daran, was mit Lots Frau geschah!
33 Wer sich an sein Leben klammert, der wird es verlieren. Wer aber sein Leben aufgibt, der wird es für immer bewahren.«

34 »Ich sage euch: Zwei schlafen in jener Nacht in einem Bett; einer wird angenommen, und der andere bleibt zurück.
35 Zwei Frauen werden gemeinsam Getreide mahlen; die eine wird angenommen, und die andere bleibt zurück.[c]«
37 »Herr, wo wird sich das ereignen?«, fragten die Jünger. Da antwortete ihnen Jesus: »Das werdet ihr schon sehen. Auch die Geier erkennen, wo ein verendetes Tier liegt, und sammeln sich dort.«

Apan alaot ang tawo nga mahimong hinungdan sa pagpakasala sa iyang isigka-tawo. 2 Mas maayo pa nga higtan ang iyang liog ug galingan nga bato ug itambog sa dagat kaysa mahimo siyang hinungdan sa pagpakasala sa usa niining mga bata pa sa pagtuo. 3 Busa pagbantay kamo!
“Kon makasala ang imong igsoon kanimo, badlonga siya. Ug kon maghinulsol siya, pasayloa siya. 4 Kon sulod sa usa ka adlaw makapito siya makasala kanimo, ug sa matag higayon nga makasala siya mangayo siyag pasaylo, pasayloa siya.”
Ang Pagtuo
5 Miingon ang mga apostoles kaniya, “Ginoo, dugangi ang among pagtuo!” 6 Mitubag ang Ginoo kanila, “Kon may pagtuo kamo nga sama kagamay sa liso sa mustasa, makahimo kamong mosulti niining kahoy, ‘Malukat ka ug balhin sa dagat!’ Ug motuman kini kaninyo.”
Ang Katungdanan sa Sulugoon
7 Midugang si Jesus sa pag-ingon kanila, “Pananglitan, may sulugoon ka nga nagdaro o nagbantay sa imong mga hayop, ug bag-o pa lang siya nakapauli gikan sa iyang trabaho. Isip agalon moingon ba ikaw kaniya, ‘Dali kaon na!’ 8 Dili gayod. Hinuon moingon ka, ‘Sige, andami ako sa akong panihapon ug silbihi ako. Pagkahuman ikaw na usab ang mokaon.’ 9 Wala niya pasalamati ang sulugoon tungod kay naghimo lang kini sa iyang katungdanan. 10 Ingon usab kamo niana, human ninyo matuman ang gipahimo kaninyo, huna-hunaa ninyo nga kamo mga sulugoon lang nga nagtuman sa inyong katungdanan.”
Giayo ni Jesus ang Napulo ka Tawo nga May Ngilngig nga Sakit sa Panit
11 Samtang naglakaw si Jesus padulong sa Jerusalem, miagi siya sa utlanan sa Samaria ug Galilea. 12 Ug sa iyang pagsulod sa usa ka baryo, gisugat siya sa napulo ka tawo nga may ngilngig nga sakit sa panit.[a] Nagtindog lang sila sa unahan,[b] 13 ug naninggit, “Jesus, Ginoo! Malooy ka kanamo!” 14 Pagkakita ni Jesus kanila, miingon siya, “Adto kamo sa mga pari ug pagpatan-aw kanila.” Sa naglakaw pa lang sila, nangaayo na sila. 15 Pagkakita sa usa kanila nga naayo na siya, mibalik siya kang Jesus ug misinggit sa pagdayeg sa Dios. 16 Miluhod siya ug nagpasalamat kang Jesus. Kadtong tawhana taga-Samaria. 17 Unya miingon si Jesus, “Dili ba napulo man ang nangaayo? Hain na man ang siyam? 18 Nganong wala may mibalik aron magpasalamat sa Dios gawas niining tawo nga dili Judio?” 19 Ug miingon si Jesus kaniya, “Tindog ug pauli na. Ang imong pagtuo maoy nagluwas[c] kanimo.”
Ang Bahin sa Paghari sa Dios
(Mat. 24:23-28, 37-41)
20 May mga Pariseo nga nangutana kang Jesus kon kanus-a magsugod ang paghari sa Dios. Miingon si Jesus kanila, “Sa pagsugod sa paghari sa Dios walay timailhan nga makita. 21 Busa walay makaingon, ‘Ania dinhi, tan-awa ninyo!’ O, ‘Atua didto!’ Kay ang paghari sa Dios anaa na kaninyo.” 22 Unya miingon si Jesus sa iyang mga tinun-an, “Moabot ang panahon nga mangandoy kamo nga unta makita ninyo ako nga Anak sa Tawo bisan sa usa lang ka adlaw, apan dili pa kana mahitabo. 23 May mga tawo nga moingon kaninyo, ‘Atua siya didto!’ o, ‘Ania siya dinhi!’ Ayaw kamo pagtuo kanila o mangita ba hinuon kanako. 24 Tungod kay ang Anak sa Tawo mobalik sama sa kilat nga mokilab sa palibot.[d] 25 Apan kinahanglan nga daghan una nga mga pag-antos ang akong maagian. Isalikway ako sa mga tawo niining panahona.
26 “Kon unsa ang gihimo sa mga tawo sa panahon ni Noe, mao usab ang himuon sa mga tawo sa pag-abot sa Anak sa Tawo. 27 Sa panahon ni Noe, walay laing gihuna-huna ang mga tawo kondili ang maglipay: nagsige lang ug kaon, inom, ug nagminyoanay hangtod nga miabot ang adlaw nga misulod si Noe sa arka. Unya milunop ug nalumos silang tanan. 28 Ang himuon sa mga tawo sama usab sa gihimo sa mga tawo sa panahon ni Lot. Ang mga tawo kaniadto nagsige lang ug kaon, inom, pamalit, pamaligya, pananom, ug nagsige lang ug patukod ug mga balay. 29 Apan sa adlaw nga nakagawas na si Lot sa Sodoma, miulan didto ug kalayo ug asupre. Ug nangamatay silang tanan. 30 Mao usab kana ang mahitabo kon ako nga Anak sa Tawo muabot na. 31 Nianang adlawa, ang tawo nga anaa sa gawas sa iyang balay kinahanglan nga dili na mosulod pa aron sa pagkuha sa iyang mga kabtangan. Ug ang atua didto sa uma kinahanglan nga dili na mopauli pa sa iyang balay. 32 Hinumdomi ninyo ang nahitabo sa asawa ni Lot. 33 Si bisan kinsa nga magtinguha sa pagtipig sa iyang kinabuhi mawad-an hinuon niini. Apan si bisan kinsa nga magbuhis sa iyang kinabuhi tungod sa iyang pagsunod kanako makabaton sa kinabuhi nga walay kataposan. 34 Ang tinuod, nianang gabhiona, kon may duha ka tawo nga magtapad sa pagpangatulog, ang usa kuhaon ug ang usa ibilin. 35 Kon may duha ka babaye nga maggaling, ang usa kuhaon ug ang usa ibilin. 36 [Ug kon may duha ka tawo nga magtrabaho didto sa uma, ang usa kuhaon ug ang usa ibilin.]” 37 Unya nangutana ang iyang mga tinun-an, “Ginoo, asa man kini mahitabo?” Gitubag niya sila pinaagi sa usa ka panultihon, “Kon asa ang patayng lawas, atua usab didto magtigom ang mga uwak.”

17 Jesus said to his disciples: “Things that cause people to stumble(A) are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come.(B) 2 It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones(C) to stumble.(D) 3 So watch yourselves.
“If your brother or sister[a] sins against you, rebuke them;(E) and if they repent, forgive them.(F) 4 Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.”(G)
5 The apostles(H) said to the Lord,(I) “Increase our faith!”
6 He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed,(J) you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.(K)
7 “Suppose one of you has a servant plowing or looking after the sheep. Will he say to the servant when he comes in from the field, ‘Come along now and sit down to eat’? 8 Won’t he rather say, ‘Prepare my supper, get yourself ready and wait on me(L) while I eat and drink; after that you may eat and drink’? 9 Will he thank the servant because he did what he was told to do? 10 So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’”(M)
Jesus Heals Ten Men With Leprosy
11 Now on his way to Jerusalem,(N) Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee.(O) 12 As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy[b](P) met him. They stood at a distance(Q) 13 and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master,(R) have pity on us!”
14 When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.”(S) And as they went, they were cleansed.
15 One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God(T) in a loud voice. 16 He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.(U)
17 Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? 18 Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” 19 Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”(V)
The Coming of the Kingdom of God(W)
20 Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come,(X) Jesus replied, “The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, 21 nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’(Y) because the kingdom of God is in your midst.”[c]
22 Then he said to his disciples, “The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man,(Z) but you will not see it.(AA) 23 People will tell you, ‘There he is!’ or ‘Here he is!’ Do not go running off after them.(AB) 24 For the Son of Man in his day[d] will be like the lightning,(AC) which flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other. 25 But first he must suffer many things(AD) and be rejected(AE) by this generation.(AF)
26 “Just as it was in the days of Noah,(AG) so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 27 People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.
28 “It was the same in the days of Lot.(AH) People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. 29 But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.
30 “It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed.(AI) 31 On that day no one who is on the housetop, with possessions inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything.(AJ) 32 Remember Lot’s wife!(AK) 33 Whoever tries to keep their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life will preserve it.(AL) 34 I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. 35 Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left.”(AM) [36] [e]
37 “Where, Lord?” they asked.
He replied, “Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather.”(AN)

2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.
6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.
7 But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?
8 And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
9 Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.
10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.
11 And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
22 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.
23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.
24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
25 But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.
26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.
