Luke 12:45-47

⁴⁵But if that servant says to himself, ‘My master ^(A)is delayed in coming,’ and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and ^(B)get drunk, ⁴⁶the master of that servant will come ^(C)on a day when he does not expect him and ^(D)at an hour he does not know, and will cut him in pieces and put him with the unfaithful. ⁴⁷^(E)And that servant who ^(F)knew his master's will but ^(G)did not get ready ^(H)or act according to his will, will receive a ^(I)severe beating.

⁴⁵^(A)But if that servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and be drunk, ⁴⁶the master of that servant will come on a ^(B)day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. ⁴⁷And ^(C)that servant who ^(D)knew his master’s will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
