Jesus é Senhor do sábado
(Mt 12.1-8; Mc 2.23-28)
6 Num certo sábado, Jesus estava atravessando um campo de trigo. Os seus discípulos começaram a colher algumas espigas e, debulhando-as, comiam os grãos de trigo. 2 Então alguns dos fariseus lhes disseram:
—Por que vocês estão fazendo o que não é permitido fazer no sábado?
3 Jesus lhes respondeu:
—Vocês não leram o que Davi fez quando ele e os seus companheiros tiveram fome? 4 Vocês não leram como ele entrou na casa de Deus, pegou o pão sagrado e o comeu, repartindo-o também com os homens que estavam com ele? Entretanto não é permitido a ninguém comer desse pão a não ser aos sacerdotes.
5 E também disse a eles:
—O Filho do Homem é Senhor do sábado!
Jesus cura um homem no sábado
(Mt 12.9-14; Mc 3.1-6)
6 Num outro sábado, Jesus foi para a sinagoga e começou a ensinar. Lá estava também um homem que tinha sua mão direita paralizada. 7 Os professores da lei e os fariseus ficaram observando a Jesus para ver se ele ia curar alguém no sábado. Eles procuravam algum motivo para acusar a Jesus de desobedecer à lei. 8 Jesus conhecia o pensamento deles, mas mesmo assim disse ao homem com a mão paralizada:
—Levante-se e fique de pé na frente de todos.
Ele se levantou e ficou de pé. 9 Então Jesus disse a eles:
—Agora eu pergunto a vocês: O que é permitido fazer no sábado: o bem ou o mal? É permitido salvar uma vida ou destruí-la?
10 E olhando ao seu redor para todos eles, disse ao homem:
—Estenda a sua mão.
O homem a estendeu e ela ficou boa. 11 Eles, porém, ficaram furiosos e começaram a planejar o que poderiam fazer contra Jesus.
Jesus escolhe os doze apóstolos
(Mt 10.1-4; Mc 3.13-19)
12 Naqueles dias Jesus subiu a um monte para orar e passou a noite toda orando a Deus. 13 Quando amanheceu, ele chamou os discípulos e escolheu doze entre eles, a quem deu nome de apóstolos. 14 Eram eles:
Simão, a quem ele deu o nome de Pedro;
André, irmão dele;
Tiago;
João;
Filipe;
Bartolomeu;
15 Mateus;
Tomé;
Tiago, o filho de Alfeu;
Simão, que pertencia ao grupo dos zelotes;[a]
16 Judas, o filho de Tiago;
e Judas Iscariotes (o qual traiu Jesus mais tarde).
Jesus ensina e cura muita gente
(Mt 4.23-25; 5.1-12)
17 Jesus desceu com eles para um lugar plano onde havia uma grande multidão dos seus discípulos. Estavam lá pessoas vindas de toda a Judeia, de Jerusalém e também de Tiro e Sidom, cidades do litoral. 18 Elas tinham ido para ouvi-lo e para serem curadas das suas doenças. E aqueles que eram atormentados pelos demônios também eram curados. 19 Toda a multidão o seguia para tocar nele, porque poder saía dele para curar a todos.
Bênçãos e maldições
20 Olhando para os seus discípulos, disse:
—Felizes são vocês, os pobres,
pois é esse tipo de pessoa que fará parte do reino de Deus.
21 Felizes são vocês que agora têm fome,
Deus fará com que fiquem satisfeitos.
Felizes são vocês que agora choram,
porque irão sorrir.
22 —Felizes serão vocês quando os homens os odiarem, os expulsarem, os insultarem, e desprezarem os seus nomes por causa do Filho do Homem. 23 Pulem de alegria, porque uma grande recompensa está guardada para vocês no céu! Os antepassados destas pessoas fizeram o mesmo com os profetas.
24 —Mas ai de vocês, os ricos,
pois vocês já receberam o seu conforto!
25 Ai de vocês, os que agora têm fartura,
porque vão ter fome!
Ai de vocês que agora estão rindo,
porque vão chorar e lamentar!
26 Ai de vocês que são elogiados por todos,
porque os antepassados destas pessoas também elogiavam os falsos profetas!
Jesus ensina sobre o amor
(Mt 5.38-48; 7.12a)
27 Mas eu digo a vocês que estão me escutando: Amem os seus inimigos e façam o bem a quem os odeiam. 28 Falem bem daqueles que os amaldiçoam e orem por aqueles que maltratam vocês. 29 Se alguém lhe bater num lado do rosto, vire-lhe também o outro lado. Se alguém pegar a sua capa, deixe que leve também a sua túnica. 30 Dê para todo aquele que lhe pedir alguma coisa e, se alguém levar o que é seu, não peça de volta. 31 Tratem as outras pessoas da mesma maneira que vocês gostariam de ser tratados por elas.
32 —Pois, se vocês amarem somente aqueles que os amam, que louvor vocês esperam receber? Até mesmo os pecadores amam aqueles que os amam! 33 E se vocês fizerem o bem somente para aqueles que fazem o bem para vocês, que louvor vocês esperam receber? Até mesmo os pecadores fazem isso. 34 Se vocês emprestarem somente para aqueles que vocês acham que vão pagar, que méritos vocês esperam ganhar? Até os pecadores emprestam a pecadores para receberem de volta a mesma quantia. 35 Ao contrário, amem os seus inimigos e façam o bem a eles. Emprestem e não esperem receber de volta o que emprestaram, pois assim a sua recompensa será grande e vocês serão chamados filhos do Altíssimo. Façam isto porque Deus também é bom para com os ingratos e maus. 36 Sejam misericordiosos como o Pai de vocês é misericordioso.
Não devemos julgar ninguém
(Mt 7.1-5)
37 Não julguem os outros para que Deus não julgue vocês. Não condenem os outros para que Deus não condene vocês. Perdoem os outros para que Deus perdoe vocês. 38 Deem aos outros e Deus também dará a vocês. Vocês receberão muito, uma quantidade generosa que será colocada nas suas mãos, mais do que vocês poderão carregar. Pois a mesma medida que usarem com os outros Deus a usará com vocês.
39 E Jesus também fez esta comparação[b]:
—Pode um cego guiar outro cego? Por acaso não cairão os dois no buraco? 40 Nenhum discípulo é mais importante do que o seu mestre mas, qualquer um, depois de bem treinado, será igual ao seu mestre.
41 Por que você vê o cisco que está no olho do seu irmão e não vê o tronco que está no seu próprio olho? 42 Como você pode dizer: “Irmão, deixe-me tirar o cisco do seu olho”, quando você nem vê o tronco que está no seu próprio olho? Hipócrita! Tire primeiro o tronco que está no seu olho e então verá muito melhor para tirar o cisco do olho do seu irmão.
O que você faz mostra quem você é
(Mt 7.17-20; 12.34b-35)
43 Uma árvore de boa qualidade não vai dar frutos de má qualidade, nem a árvore de má qualidade irá dar frutos de boa qualidade. 44 Cada árvore é conhecida pelos frutos que ela produz. Não se colhe figos de espinheiros e nem uvas de plantas espinhosas. 45 A boa pessoa faz coisas boas, pois do tesouro do seu coração tira o bem. A má pessoa faz coisas más, pois do tesouro do seu coração tira o mal. Porque a boca fala do que está cheio o coração.
Os dois tipos de pessoas
(Mt 7.24-27)
46 Por que vocês me chamam: “Senhor, Senhor” e não fazem o que eu digo? 47 Eu vou lhes dizer como é o homem que vem a mim, que ouve as minhas palavras e as obedece. 48 Ele é como um homem que construiu uma casa. Ele cavou bem fundo e pôs os alicerces sobre a rocha. Quando vieram as chuvas e as enchentes, a casa não se abalou, pois tinha sido bem construída. 49 Mas aquele que ouve as minhas palavras e não as obedece é como um homem que construiu sua casa sobre a terra, sem alicerces. Quando a água bateu sobre aquela casa, ela desabou e ficou completamente destruída.

耶稣是安息日之主
6 在一个安息日里，耶稣路过一片庄稼地，他的门徒们摘了些麦穗，用手搓着吃。 2 一些法利赛人说∶“你们为什么在安息日里做违法的事情呢？”
3 耶稣回答道∶“难道你们不曾读到过大卫和他手下的人在饥饿的时刻是怎么做的吗？ 4 他们走进了上帝的大殿，大卫拿起献给上帝的贡饼就吃，并且还把它分给了他的随从们吃。而那些贡饼除了祭司们外，任何其他人吃，都是违法的。” 5 然后，耶稣又说∶“人子才是安息日之主。”
耶稣在安息日治愈手残的人
6 在另一个安息日里，耶稣在会堂里教导人们，一个右手萎缩的人也在那里。 7 那些律法师和法利赛人密切地窥伺着他，看他是否在安息日为人治病，他们企图抓住把柄来控告他。 8 但是耶稣看穿了他们的心思。他对那个手残的人说∶“起来，站到大家面前来！”那个人照他的话做了。 9 耶稣又对他们说∶“我问你们，在安息日里哪个是合法的呢：应该做好事，还是应该做坏事呢？” 10 耶稣环顾周围所有的人，然后对那个手残的人说∶“伸出你的手！”那人刚一伸出手，手便康复了。 11 但是，律法师和法利赛人却非常气愤，他们彼此商量着如何对付耶稣。
耶稣选出十二个使徒
12 那时，耶稣到山上去祈祷，他整夜向上帝祈祷。 13 一天，天亮的时候，他把门徒们召集在一起，从他们中间挑选出十二个人，称他们为使徒。 14 这十二个人是：西门 [a]、和他的兄弟安得烈，还有雅各、约翰、腓力、巴多罗买、 15 马太和多马、亚勒腓的儿子雅各和被人称他为激进派的西门， 16 还有雅各的儿子犹大，以及后来出卖耶稣的加略人犹大。
耶稣传教，治病救人
17 耶稣和他的使徒们一起下山了，他们站在一块平地上，很多人聚集在那里。这些人分别是从犹太城、耶路撒冷、推罗和西顿的海滨赶来的， 18 他们都是来听耶稣教导的，并得到了治愈。耶稣为那些被邪灵困惑的人治好了病。 19 大家都想摸一摸耶稣，因为他们知道会有能量从他身上发出。耶稣医治了他们所有人的疾病。
20 耶稣举目看着门徒，说道：
“贫穷的人们，你们受到祝福，
因为上帝的王国属于你们。
21 饥饿的人们，你们受到祝福，
因为你们将得到饱餐；
哭泣的人们，你们受到祝福，
因为你们将要欢笑。
22 “因为人子的缘故，当人们憎恨你们、孤立你们、侮辱你们，并认为你们的名声邪恶而拒绝你们时，你们就受到祝福了。 23 在那天，你们将要欢呼雀跃，因为你们在天堂里的奖赏是巨大的。当年他们的祖先也是这样对待先知的。
24 “但是，富人们要遭殃了，
因为你们已经享受了安逸；
25 现在饱食终日的人，你们要遭殃了，
因为你们将要忍饥挨饿；
现在欢笑的人们要遭殃了，
因为你们将悲哀和哭泣；
26 “人人都夸你们的时候，你们要遭殃了，因为他们的祖先就是这样对待假先知的。
爱你们的敌人
27 “但是，你们这些听我讲话的人，我告诉你们，要爱你们的敌人，善待憎恨你们的人， 28 祝福那些咒骂你们的人们，为那些虐待你们的人祈祷。 29 如果有人打了你一边脸，你就把另一边脸也伸过去让他打；如果有人拿走了你的外衣，就把衬衫也送给他； 30 要给予对你有所求的人，如果有人拿走了你的东西，不要再要回来。 31 你们想让别人怎样对待你们，你们也应该怎样对待别人。 32 如果你们只爱那些爱你们的人，那有什么可值得称道的呢？即使是罪人也爱那些爱他们的人； 33 如果你们只善待那些善待你们的人，那有什么可值得称道的呢？就连罪人也会这么做。 34 如果你们只把东西借给那些有希望偿还的人，又有什么值得称道的呢？就连罪人也会把钱借给别的罪人，只要他们能如数归还！
35 爱你们的敌人吧，善待他们吧。借钱给别人，而不要期待别人归还。这样，你们就会得到巨大的奖赏，而且将成为至高的上帝的儿子，因为他（上帝）就善待着那些忘恩负义和邪恶的人们。 36 你们要像你们的父亲那样仁慈。
反躬自省
37 不要评判人，上帝就不会评判你们；不要给别人定罪，你们就不会被定罪；要宽恕别人，你们就会得到宽恕。 38 施与别人，你们也会得到施与，他们会连摇带按地往你怀里塞东西，满得都抱不住。你们用什么样的量器来衡量别人，你们自己也会受到这同样的量器来衡量。
39 耶稣又给他们讲了一个比喻，说∶“一个盲人能给另一个盲人带路吗？他们俩难道不会一起跌进沟里吗？ 40 学生不会高于老师，但是，当他学成后，就会像他的老师一样。
41 为什么你只看见朋友眼里有刺，却看不见自己眼里有梁木呢？ 42 你看不到自己眼里有梁木，又怎么能对你的朋友说∶‘朋友，让我来把你眼中的刺挑出来’？你这个虚伪的人啊，还是先移去你自己眼中的梁木吧，然后，你才能看清楚，把朋友眼里的刺挑出来。
好树结好果
43 好树结不出恶果，坏树也结不出好果； 44 树的好坏是从它结的果实来分辨的。人们不在荆棘丛中摘无花果，也不在灌木丛中摘葡萄。 45 善良人的内心蕴藏着美好，所以，他们的话也是美好的；但是，恶人的内心却蕴藏着邪恶，他们的话也就充满了邪恶。一个人的内心充满了什么，口中就会说出什么。
两种人
46 你们为什么呼叫我“主啊，主”的，却不照我说的去做呢？ 47 每个到我这里来、听了我的话并服从它们的人， 我要告诉你们他像什么样的人： 48 他就像一个盖房子的人，首先深挖土地，把地基打在磐石上，所以，即使洪水来了，冲击那座房子，它也不会动摇，因为房子建造得很结实。
49 可是，那个听到我的话而不去执行的人，就像一个人，把房子建在没有地基的地上，河水一冲，房子便立刻倒塌，彻底给毁坏了。”

Jesus Is Lord of the Sabbath(A)
6 One Sabbath Jesus was going through the grainfields, and his disciples began to pick some heads of grain, rub them in their hands and eat the kernels.(B) 2 Some of the Pharisees asked, “Why are you doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath?”(C)
3 Jesus answered them, “Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry?(D) 4 He entered the house of God, and taking the consecrated bread, he ate what is lawful only for priests to eat.(E) And he also gave some to his companions.” 5 Then Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man(F) is Lord of the Sabbath.”
6 On another Sabbath(G) he went into the synagogue and was teaching, and a man was there whose right hand was shriveled. 7 The Pharisees and the teachers of the law were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, so they watched him closely(H) to see if he would heal on the Sabbath.(I) 8 But Jesus knew what they were thinking(J) and said to the man with the shriveled hand, “Get up and stand in front of everyone.” So he got up and stood there.
9 Then Jesus said to them, “I ask you, which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy it?”
10 He looked around at them all, and then said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He did so, and his hand was completely restored. 11 But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law were furious(K) and began to discuss with one another what they might do to Jesus.
The Twelve Apostles(L)
12 One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God.(M) 13 When morning came, he called his disciples to him and chose twelve of them, whom he also designated apostles:(N) 14 Simon (whom he named Peter), his brother Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, 15 Matthew,(O) Thomas, James son of Alphaeus, Simon who was called the Zealot, 16 Judas son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor.
Blessings and Woes(P)
17 He went down with them and stood on a level place. A large crowd of his disciples was there and a great number of people from all over Judea, from Jerusalem, and from the coastal region around Tyre and Sidon,(Q) 18 who had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases. Those troubled by impure spirits were cured, 19 and the people all tried to touch him,(R) because power was coming from him and healing them all.(S)
20 Looking at his disciples, he said:
“Blessed are you who are poor,
for yours is the kingdom of God.(T)
21 Blessed are you who hunger now,
for you will be satisfied.(U)
Blessed are you who weep now,
for you will laugh.(V)
22 Blessed are you when people hate you,
when they exclude you(W) and insult you(X)
and reject your name as evil,
because of the Son of Man.(Y)
23 “Rejoice in that day and leap for joy,(Z) because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their ancestors treated the prophets.(AA)
24 “But woe to you who are rich,(AB)
for you have already received your comfort.(AC)
25 Woe to you who are well fed now,
for you will go hungry.(AD)
Woe to you who laugh now,
for you will mourn and weep.(AE)
26 Woe to you when everyone speaks well of you,
for that is how their ancestors treated the false prophets.(AF)
Love for Enemies(AG)
27 “But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,(AH) 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.(AI) 29 If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. 30 Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back.(AJ) 31 Do to others as you would have them do to you.(AK)
32 “If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you?(AL) Even sinners love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. 34 And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you?(AM) Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full. 35 But love your enemies, do good to them,(AN) and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children(AO) of the Most High,(AP) because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. 36 Be merciful,(AQ) just as your Father(AR) is merciful.
Judging Others(AS)
37 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged.(AT) Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.(AU) 38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.(AV) For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”(AW)
39 He also told them this parable: “Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into a pit?(AX) 40 The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher.(AY)
41 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 42 How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
A Tree and Its Fruit(AZ)
43 “No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. 44 Each tree is recognized by its own fruit.(BA) People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers. 45 A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.(BB)
The Wise and Foolish Builders(BC)
46 “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’(BD) and do not do what I say?(BE) 47 As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice,(BF) I will show you what they are like. 48 They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. 49 But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.”
