A ressurreição de Jesus
(Mt 28.1-10; Mc 16.1-8; Jo 20.1-10)
24 No primeiro dia da semana, bem cedo, as mulheres foram para o túmulo e levaram os perfumes que tinham preparado. 2 Elas viram que a pedra tinha sido mexida da entrada do túmulo para um outro lugar 3 e entraram, porém não encontraram o corpo do Senhor Jesus. 4 Enquanto elas estavam perplexas a esse respeito, apareceram dois homens vestidos com roupas que brilhavam muito, e se colocaram ao lado delas. 5 Elas ficaram com muito medo e se ajoelharam, levando seus rostos até o chão. Então os dois homens lhes disseram:
—Por que vocês estão procurando entre os mortos alguém que está vivo? 6 Ele não está mais aqui. Ele ressuscitou! Vocês não lembram do que ele disse quando ainda estava na Galileia: 7 O Filho do Homem tem que ser entregue aos pecadores, ser crucificado e ressuscitar no terceiro dia?
8 Então elas se lembraram das palavras de Jesus. 9 Depois voltaram do túmulo e contaram todas estas coisas aos onze e a todos os outros. 10 Elas eram: Maria Madalena, Joana e Maria, a mãe de Tiago. Elas e as outras mulheres que estavam com elas, estavam contando estas coisas aos apóstolos. 11 Mas eles acharam que o que elas estavam falando era tolice e não acreditaram nelas. 12 Pedro, porém, se levantou e correu para o túmulo. E, ao abaixar-se, não viu nada a não ser os lençóis de linho. Então ele foi embora imaginando o que podia ter acontecido.[a]
No caminho de Emaús
(Mc 16.12-13)
13 Naquele mesmo dia, dois dos discípulos[b] estavam indo para uma vila chamada Emaús, situada mais ou menos a onze quilômetros[c] de Jerusalém. 14 Eles estavam conversando a respeito das coisas que tinham acontecido. 15 Enquanto falavam e discutiam sobre o assunto, o próprio Jesus se aproximou e começou a andar com eles. 16 Eles, porém, foram impedidos de o reconhecer. 17 Jesus lhes perguntou:
—Sobre o que vocês discutiam pelo caminho?
Eles pararam e seus rostos estavam bem tristes. 18 Cléopas, um deles, lhe disse:
—Você deve ser a única pessoa de Jerusalém que não sabe o que aconteceu por lá nestes últimos dias!
19 E Jesus perguntou:
—Do que vocês estão falando?
Eles lhe disseram:
—É a respeito de Jesus de Nazaré, um profeta, poderoso em palavras e obras aos olhos de Deus e de todo o povo. 20 Os nossos líderes e os líderes dos sacerdotes o entregaram para ser condenado à morte e o crucificaram. 21 Nós tínhamos esperança de que ele iria ser o libertador de Israel! Além de tudo isso, já faz três dias que essas coisas aconteceram 22 e algumas mulheres do nosso grupo nos surpreenderam, pois elas foram ao túmulo hoje de manhã cedo 23 e não encontraram o corpo dele. Então elas voltaram e nos disseram que tinham tido uma visão, na qual anjos lhes tinham dito que ele estava vivo. 24 Então, alguns daqueles que estavam conosco também foram ao túmulo e o encontraram exatamente como as mulheres tinham dito, mas não viram a Jesus.
25 Então Jesus lhes disse:
—Vocês são tolos e demoram muito para acreditar em todas as coisas que os profetas disseram. 26 Por acaso não era necessário que o Messias sofresse essas coisas antes de entrar na sua glória?
27 Depois, Jesus explicou a eles tudo o que os profetas tinham dito a respeito dele em todas as Escrituras, começando por Moisés. 28 Eles estavam se aproximando da cidade para onde iam e Jesus fez como quem ia para mais longe. 29 Mas eles insistiram para que ele ficasse, dizendo:
—Fique conosco porque é quase noite e o dia já está acabando.
Então ele entrou e ficou com os dois discípulos. 30 Quando Jesus estava à mesa com eles, pegou o pão, deu graças e o repartiu entre eles. 31 Enquanto ele repartia o pão, os olhos deles se abriram e eles o reconheceram, mas Jesus desapareceu. 32 Então um disse ao outro:
—Não parecia que os nossos corações estavam queimando dentro do peito quando ele falava conosco durante o caminho, explicando as Escrituras?
33 E imediatamente eles se levantaram e voltaram para Jerusalém, onde encontraram os onze apóstolos reunidos com os outros. 34 Os apóstolos e os outros disseram:
—O Senhor ressuscitou de verdade! Ele apareceu a Simão!
35 Então os dois também contaram o que lhes tinha acontecido no caminho e como tinham reconhecido a Jesus quando ele partiu o pão.
Jesus aparece aos seus discípulos
(Mt 28.16-20; Mc 16.14-18; Jo 20.19-23; At 1.6-8)
36 Enquanto estavam falando sobre essas coisas, Jesus apareceu no meio dos discípulos e disse:
—A paz esteja com vocês!
37 Eles, porém, ficaram assustados e com muito medo e pensaram que estavam vendo um fantasma. 38 Mas ele lhes disse:
—Por que vocês estão perturbados? Por que duvidam tanto? 39 Olhem para as minhas mãos e para os meus pés e vejam que sou eu mesmo! Toquem em mim e vejam; um fantasma não tem carne e ossos como vocês estão vendo que eu tenho!
40 Depois de dizer isto, Jesus lhes mostrou suas mãos e os seus pés. 41 Os discípulos estavam tão alegres que nem podiam acreditar, mas estavam também muito espantados. Então, Jesus lhes disse:
—Vocês têm alguma coisa para comer aqui?
42 Eles lhe deram um pedaço de peixe assado. 43 Ele o aceitou e o comeu diante deles 44 e lhes disse:
—Estas são exatamente as coisas sobre as quais eu lhes falei quando ainda estava com vocês. Tudo o que está escrito a meu respeito na lei de Moisés, nos livros dos profetas e nos Salmos tinha que acontecer. 45 Então ele abriu as mentes deles para que pudessem entender as Escrituras.
46 E lhes disse:
—As Escrituras dizem que o Cristo sofrerá e ressuscitará no terceiro dia 47 e que o arrependimento para o perdão dos pecados será proclamado em seu nome para todas as nações, começando em Jerusalém. 48 Vocês são testemunhas destas coisas 49 e eu lhes mandarei o que o meu Pai prometeu. Mas fiquem na cidade, até que aquele poder lá de cima venha sobre vocês.
Jesus é levado para o céu
(Mc 16.19-20; At 1.9-11)
50 Depois Jesus os levou até perto da região de Betânia. Ali ele levantou as mãos e os abençoou. 51 Enquanto os abençoava, Jesus os deixou e foi levado para o céu. 52 Então eles o adoraram e voltaram para Jerusalém cheios de alegria. 53 Eles estavam sempre no templo, adorando a Deus.

24 Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.
2 And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.
3 And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
4 And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:
5 And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
6 He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,
7 Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
8 And they remembered his words,
9 And returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest.
10 It was Mary Magdalene and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles.
11 And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not.
12 Then arose Peter, and ran unto the sepulchre; and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in himself at that which was come to pass.
13 And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs.
14 And they talked together of all these things which had happened.
15 And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.
16 But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.
17 And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?
18 And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?
19 And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:
20 And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.
21 But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.
22 Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre;
23 And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.
24 And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.
25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:
26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?
27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
28 And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further.
29 But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.
30 And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.
31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.
32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?
33 And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them,
34 Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.
35 And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread.
36 And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
37 But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
38 And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?
39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
40 And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.
41 And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?
42 And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.
43 And he took it, and did eat before them.
44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
48 And ye are witnesses of these things.
49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
50 And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.
51 And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.
52 And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:
53 And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.

Jesus Has Risen(A)
24 On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared(B) and went to the tomb. 2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.(C) 4 While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning(D) stood beside them. 5 In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6 He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee:(E) 7 ‘The Son of Man(F) must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ”(G) 8 Then they remembered his words.(H)
9 When they came back from the tomb, they told all these things to the Eleven and to all the others. 10 It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the others with them(I) who told this to the apostles.(J) 11 But they did not believe(K) the women, because their words seemed to them like nonsense. 12 Peter, however, got up and ran to the tomb. Bending over, he saw the strips of linen lying by themselves,(L) and he went away,(M) wondering to himself what had happened.
On the Road to Emmaus
13 Now that same day two of them were going to a village called Emmaus, about seven miles[a] from Jerusalem.(N) 14 They were talking with each other about everything that had happened. 15 As they talked and discussed these things with each other, Jesus himself came up and walked along with them;(O) 16 but they were kept from recognizing him.(P)
17 He asked them, “What are you discussing together as you walk along?”
They stood still, their faces downcast. 18 One of them, named Cleopas,(Q) asked him, “Are you the only one visiting Jerusalem who does not know the things that have happened there in these days?”
19 “What things?” he asked.
“About Jesus of Nazareth,”(R) they replied. “He was a prophet,(S) powerful in word and deed before God and all the people. 20 The chief priests and our rulers(T) handed him over to be sentenced to death, and they crucified him; 21 but we had hoped that he was the one who was going to redeem Israel.(U) And what is more, it is the third day(V) since all this took place. 22 In addition, some of our women amazed us.(W) They went to the tomb early this morning 23 but didn’t find his body. They came and told us that they had seen a vision of angels, who said he was alive. 24 Then some of our companions went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said, but they did not see Jesus.”(X)
25 He said to them, “How foolish you are, and how slow to believe all that the prophets have spoken! 26 Did not the Messiah have to suffer these things and then enter his glory?”(Y) 27 And beginning with Moses(Z) and all the Prophets,(AA) he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself.(AB)
28 As they approached the village to which they were going, Jesus continued on as if he were going farther. 29 But they urged him strongly, “Stay with us, for it is nearly evening; the day is almost over.” So he went in to stay with them.
30 When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it(AC) and began to give it to them. 31 Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him,(AD) and he disappeared from their sight. 32 They asked each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us(AE) while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures(AF) to us?”
33 They got up and returned at once to Jerusalem. There they found the Eleven and those with them, assembled together 34 and saying, “It is true! The Lord(AG) has risen and has appeared to Simon.”(AH) 35 Then the two told what had happened on the way, and how Jesus was recognized by them when he broke the bread.(AI)
Jesus Appears to the Disciples
36 While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.”(AJ)
37 They were startled and frightened, thinking they saw a ghost.(AK) 38 He said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds? 39 Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see;(AL) a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”
40 When he had said this, he showed them his hands and feet. 41 And while they still did not believe it because of joy and amazement, he asked them, “Do you have anything here to eat?” 42 They gave him a piece of broiled fish, 43 and he took it and ate it in their presence.(AM)
44 He said to them, “This is what I told you while I was still with you:(AN) Everything must be fulfilled(AO) that is written about me in the Law of Moses,(AP) the Prophets(AQ) and the Psalms.”(AR)
45 Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures. 46 He told them, “This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer(AS) and rise from the dead on the third day,(AT) 47 and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name(AU) to all nations,(AV) beginning at Jerusalem.(AW) 48 You are witnesses(AX) of these things. 49 I am going to send you what my Father has promised;(AY) but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.”
The Ascension of Jesus
50 When he had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany,(AZ) he lifted up his hands and blessed them. 51 While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven.(BA) 52 Then they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy. 53 And they stayed continually at the temple,(BB) praising God.

3 Då gingo de ditin, men funno icke Herren Jesu kropp.
4 När de nu icke visste vad de skulle tänka härom, se, då stodo två man framför dem i skinande kläder.
5 Och de blevo förskräckta och böjde sina ansikten ned mot jorden. Då sade mannen till dem »Varför söken I den levande bland de döda?
6 Han är icke har, han är uppstånden. Kommen ihåg vad han talade till eder, medan han ännu var i Galileen, huru han sade:
7 'Människosonen måste bliva överlämnad i syndiga människors händer och bliva korsfäst; men på tredje dagen skall han uppstå igen.'»
8 Då kommo de ihåg hans ord.
9 Och de vände tillbaka från graven och omtalade allt detta för de elva och för alla de andra. --

11 Deras ord syntes dock för dessa vara löst tal, och de trodde dem icke.
12 Men Petrus stod upp och skyndade till graven; och när han lutade sig ditin såg han där allenast linnebindlarna. Sedan gick han hem till sitt, uppfylld av förundran över det som hade skett.
13 Men två av dem voro samma dag stadda på vandring till en by som hette Emmaus, och som låg sextio stadiers väg från Jerusalem.
14 Och de samtalade med varandra om allt detta som hade skett.
15 Medan de nu samtalade och överlade med varandra, nalkades Jesus själv och gick med dem.
16 Men deras ögon voro tillslutna, så att de icke kände igen honom.
17 Och han sade till dem: »Vad är det I talen om med varandra, medan I gån här?» Då stannade de och sågo bedrövade ut.
18 Och den ene, som hette Kleopas, svarade och sade till honom: »Du är väl en främling i Jerusalem, den ende som icke har hört vad där har skett i dessa dagar?»
19 Han frågade dem: »Vad då?» De svarade honom: »Det som har skett med Jesus från Nasaret, vilken var en profet, mäktig i gärningar och ord inför Gud och allt folket:
20 huru nämligen våra överstepräster och rådsherrar hava utlämnat honom till att dömas till döden och hava korsfäst honom.
21 Men vi hoppades att han var den som skulle förlossa Israel. Och likväl, till allt detta kommer att det redan är tredje dagen sedan detta skedde.
22 Men nu hava därjämte några av våra kvinnor gjort oss häpna; ty sedan de bittida på morgonen hade varit vid graven
23 och icke funnit hans kropp, kommo de igen och sade att de till och med hade sett en änglasyn, och änglarna hade sagt att han levde.
24 Och när några av dem som voro. med oss gingo bort till graven, funno de det vara så som kvinnorna hade sagt, men honom själv sågo de icke.»
25 Då sade han till dem: »O, huru oförståndiga ären I icke och tröghjärtade till att tro på allt vad profeterna hava talat!
26 Måste icke Messias lida detta, för I att så ingå i sin härlighet?»
27 Och han begynte att genomgå Moses och alla profeterna och uttydde för dem vad som i alla skrifterna var sagt om honom.
28 När de nu nalkades byn dit de voro på väg, ställde han sig som om han ville gå vidare.
29 Men de nödgade honom och sade: »Bliv kvar hos oss, ty det lider mot aftonen, och dagen nalkas redan sitt slut.» Då gick han ditin och stannade kvar hos dem.
30 Och när han nu låg till bords med dem, tog han brödet och välsignade och bröt det och räckte åt dem.
31 Därvid öppnades deras ögon, så att de kände igen honom. Men då försvann han ur deras åsyn.
32 Och de sade till varandra: »Voro icke våra hjärtan brinnande i oss, när han talade med oss på vägen och uttydde skrifterna för oss?»
33 Och i samma stund stodo de upp och vände tillbaka till Jerusalem; och de funno där de elva församlade, så ock de andra som hade slutit sig till dem.
34 Och dessa sade: »Herren är verkligen uppstånden, och han har visat sig för Simon.»
35 Då förtäljde de själva vad som hade skett på vägen, och huru han hade blivit igenkänd av dem, när han bröt brödet.
36 Medan de nu talade härom, stod han själv mitt ibland dem och sade till dem: »Frid vare med eder.
37 Då blevo de förfärade och uppfylldes av fruktan och trodde att det var en ande de sågo.
38 Men han sade till dem: »Varför ären I så förskräckta, och varför uppstiga tvivel i edra hjärtan?
39 Sen här mina händer och mina fötter, och sen att det är jag själv; ja, tagen på mig och sen. En ande har ju icke kött och ben, såsom I sen mig hava.»
40 Och när han hade sagt detta, visade han dem sina händer och sina fötter.
41 Men då de ännu icke trodde, för glädjes skull, utan allenast förundrade sig, sade han till dem: »Haven I här något att äta?»
42 Då räckte de honom ett stycke stekt fisk och något av en honungskaka;
43 och han tog det och åt därav i deras åsyn.
44 Och han sade till dem: »Det är såsom jag sade till eder, medan jag ännu var bland eder, att allt måste fullbordas, som är skrivet om mig i Moses' lag och hos profeterna och i psalmerna.»
45 Därefter öppnade han deras sinnen, så att de förstodo skrifterna.
46 Och han sade till dem: »Det är så skrivet, att Messias skulle lida och på tredje dagen uppstå från de döda,
47 och att bättring till syndernas förlåtelse i hans namn skulle predikas bland alla folk, och först i Jerusalem.
48 I kunnen vittna härom.
49 Och se, jag vill sända till eder vad min Fader har utlovat. Men I skolen stanna kvar här i staden, till dess I från höjden bliven beklädda med kraft.»
50 Sedan förde han dem ut till Betania; och där lyfte han upp sina händer och välsignade dem.
51 Och medan han välsignade dem, försvann han ifrån dem och blev upptagen till himmelen.
52 Då tillbådo de honom och vände sedan tillbaka till Jerusalem, uppfyllda av stor glädje.
53 Och de voro sedan alltid i helgedomen och lovade Gud.
