44 Y les dijo: Esto es lo que yo os decía[a](A) cuando todavía estaba con vosotros: que era necesario que se cumpliera todo lo que sobre mí está escrito en la ley de Moisés(B), en los profetas(C) y en los salmos(D). 45 Entonces les abrió la mente para que comprendieran las Escrituras(E), 46 y les dijo: Así está escrito, que el Cristo[b] padeciera(F) y resucitara de entre los muertos al tercer día(G); 47 y que en su nombre se predicara el arrepentimiento para el perdón[c] de los pecados(H) a todas las naciones(I), comenzando desde Jerusalén.

44 He said to them, “This is what I told you while I was still with you:(A) Everything must be fulfilled(B) that is written about me in the Law of Moses,(C) the Prophets(D) and the Psalms.”(E)
45 Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures. 46 He told them, “This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer(F) and rise from the dead on the third day,(G) 47 and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name(H) to all nations,(I) beginning at Jerusalem.(J)
