— Esto dicen las Escrituras: Mi casa ha de ser casa de oración; pero ustedes la han convertido en una cueva de ladrones.
47 Y Jesús enseñaba en el Templo todos los días. Mientras tanto, los jefes de los sacerdotes, los maestros de la ley y los principales del pueblo andaban buscando cómo matarlo; 48 pero no encontraban la manera de hacerlo, porque todo el pueblo estaba pendiente de su palabra.

New International Version
46 “It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be a house of prayer’[a];(A) but you have made it ‘a den of robbers.’[b]”(B)
47 Every day he was teaching at the temple.(C) But the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the leaders among the people were trying to kill him.(D) 48 Yet they could not find any way to do it, because all the people hung on his words.
