Luke 23:51-54

51 He had not consented to their decision and deed. He was from Arimathea, a city of the Jews, (A)who[a] himself was also waiting for the kingdom of God. 52 This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. 53 (B)Then he took it down, wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a tomb that was hewn out of the rock, where no one had ever lain before. 54 That day was (C)the Preparation, and the Sabbath drew near.

New International Version
51 who had not consented to their decision and action. He came from the Judean town of Arimathea, and he himself was waiting for the kingdom of God.(A) 52 Going to Pilate, he asked for Jesus’ body. 53 Then he took it down, wrapped it in linen cloth and placed it in a tomb cut in the rock, one in which no one had yet been laid. 54 It was Preparation Day,(B) and the Sabbath was about to begin.
