11 ‘Now this is the law of the (A)sacrifice of peace offerings which shall be brought near to Yahweh. 12 If he brings it near for (B)thanksgiving, then along with the sacrifice of thanksgiving he shall bring near (C)unleavened cakes mixed with oil and unleavened wafers [a]spread with oil and cakes of well stirred fine flour mixed with oil. 13 With the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving, he shall bring near his offering with cakes of (D)leavened bread. 14 Of [b]this he shall bring near, one of every offering as a [c]contribution to Yahweh; (E)it shall [d]belong to the priest who splashes the blood of the peace offerings.

15 (F)Now as for the flesh of the sacrifice of his thanksgiving peace offerings, it shall be eaten on the day of his offering; he shall not leave any of it over until morning. 16 But if the sacrifice of his offering is a (G)votive or a freewill offering, it shall be eaten on the day that he brings near his sacrifice, and on the [e]next day what is left of it may be eaten; 17 (H)but what is left over from the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burned with fire. 18 So if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings should ever be eaten on the third day, he who brings it near will not be accepted, and it will not be counted to his benefit. It shall be an (I)offensive thing, and the person who eats of it will bear his own iniquity.

19 ‘Also the flesh that touches anything unclean shall not be eaten; it shall be burned with fire. [f]As for other flesh, anyone who is clean may eat such flesh. 20 (J)But the person who eats the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings which belong to Yahweh, [g]in his uncleanness, that person (K)shall be cut off from his people. 21 (L)When anyone touches anything unclean, whether human uncleanness or an unclean animal or any unclean [h]detestable thing, and eats of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings which belong to Yahweh, that person shall be cut off from his people.’”

Further Instructions

11 “This is the rule of the sacrifice of well-being that one may offer to the Lord. 12 If you offer it for thanksgiving, you shall offer with the thank offering unleavened cakes mixed with oil, unleavened wafers spread with oil, and cakes of choice flour well soaked in oil. 13 With your thanksgiving sacrifice of well-being you shall bring your offering with cakes of leavened bread. 14 From this you shall offer one cake from each offering, as a gift to the Lord; it shall belong to the priest who dashes the blood of the offering of well-being.(A) 15 And the flesh of your thanksgiving sacrifice of well-being shall be eaten on the day it is offered; you shall not leave any of it until morning.(B) 16 But if the sacrifice you offer is a votive offering or a freewill offering, it shall be eaten on the day that you offer your sacrifice, and what is left of it shall be eaten the next day,(C) 17 but what is left of the flesh of the sacrifice shall be burned up on the third day. 18 If any of the flesh of your sacrifice of well-being is eaten on the third day, it shall not be acceptable, nor shall it be credited to the one who offers it; it shall be an abomination, and the one who eats of it shall incur guilt.(D)

19 “Flesh that touches any unclean thing shall not be eaten; it shall be burned up. As for other flesh, all who are clean may eat such flesh. 20 But those who eat flesh from the Lord’s sacrifice of well-being while in a state of uncleanness shall be cut off from their people.(E) 21 When any one of you touches any unclean thing—human uncleanness or an unclean animal or any unclean creature—and then eats flesh from the Lord’s sacrifice of well-being, you shall be cut off from your people.”(F)
