11 ‘Now this is the law of the (A)sacrifice of peace offerings which shall be brought near to Yahweh. 12 If he brings it near for (B)thanksgiving, then along with the sacrifice of thanksgiving he shall bring near (C)unleavened cakes mixed with oil and unleavened wafers [a]spread with oil and cakes of well stirred fine flour mixed with oil. 13 With the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving, he shall bring near his offering with cakes of (D)leavened bread. 14 Of [b]this he shall bring near, one of every offering as a [c]contribution to Yahweh; (E)it shall [d]belong to the priest who splashes the blood of the peace offerings.

15 (F)Now as for the flesh of the sacrifice of his thanksgiving peace offerings, it shall be eaten on the day of his offering; he shall not leave any of it over until morning. 16 But if the sacrifice of his offering is a (G)votive or a freewill offering, it shall be eaten on the day that he brings near his sacrifice, and on the [e]next day what is left of it may be eaten; 17 (H)but what is left over from the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burned with fire. 18 So if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings should ever be eaten on the third day, he who brings it near will not be accepted, and it will not be counted to his benefit. It shall be an (I)offensive thing, and the person who eats of it will bear his own iniquity.

19 ‘Also the flesh that touches anything unclean shall not be eaten; it shall be burned with fire. [f]As for other flesh, anyone who is clean may eat such flesh. 20 (J)But the person who eats the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings which belong to Yahweh, [g]in his uncleanness, that person (K)shall be cut off from his people. 21 (L)When anyone touches anything unclean, whether human uncleanness or an unclean animal or any unclean [h]detestable thing, and eats of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings which belong to Yahweh, that person shall be cut off from his people.’”

The Law of Peace Offerings

11 (A)‘This is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings which he shall offer to the Lord: 12 If he offers it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer, with the sacrifice of thanksgiving, unleavened cakes mixed with oil, unleavened wafers (B)anointed with oil, or cakes of blended flour mixed with oil. 13 Besides the cakes, as his offering he shall offer (C)leavened bread with the sacrifice of thanksgiving of his peace offering. 14 And from it he shall offer one cake from each offering as a heave offering to the Lord. (D)It shall belong to the priest who sprinkles the blood of the peace offering.

15 (E)‘The flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offering for thanksgiving shall be eaten the same day it is offered. He shall not leave any of it until morning. 16 But (F)if the sacrifice of his offering is a vow or a voluntary offering, it shall be eaten the same day that he offers his sacrifice; but on the next day the remainder of it also may be eaten; 17 the remainder of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day must be burned with fire. 18 And if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offering is eaten at all on the third day, it shall not be accepted, nor shall it be (G)imputed to him; it shall be an (H)abomination to him who offers it, and the person who eats of it shall bear [a]guilt.

19 ‘The flesh that touches any unclean thing shall not be eaten. It shall be burned with fire. And as for the clean flesh, all who are [b]clean may eat of it. 20 But the person who eats the flesh of the sacrifice of the peace offering that belongs to the (I)Lord, (J)while he is unclean, that person (K)shall be cut off from his people. 21 Moreover the person who touches any unclean thing, such as (L)human uncleanness, an (M)unclean animal, or any (N)abominable[c] unclean thing, and who eats the flesh of the sacrifice of the peace offering that belongs to the Lord, that person (O)shall be cut off from his people.’ ”
