24 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 25 “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, (A)This is the law of the sin offering. (B)In the place where the burnt offering is killed shall the sin offering be killed before the Lord; (C)it is most holy. 26 (D)The priest who offers it for sin shall eat it. (E)In a holy place it shall be eaten, in the court of the tent of meeting. 27 Whatever touches its flesh shall be holy, and when any of its blood is splashed on a garment, you shall wash that on which it was splashed in a holy place. 28 And (F)the earthenware vessel in which it is boiled (G)shall be broken. But if it is boiled in a bronze vessel, that shall be scoured and rinsed in water. 29 Every male among the priests may eat of it; (H)it is most holy. 30 (I)But no sin offering shall be eaten from which any blood is brought into the tent of meeting to make atonement in the Holy Place; it shall be burned up with fire.

Additional Laws for Sin Offerings

24 Then[a] Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 25 “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the regulation of the sin offering: In the place where the sin offering is slaughtered, the sin offering must be slaughtered before[b] Yahweh; it is a most holy thing.[c] 26 The priest who offers the sin offering[d] must eat it in a holy place—in the tent of assembly’s courtyard. 27 Anything that[e] touches its flesh will become holy, and when some of[f] its blood spatters on a[g] garment, what was spattered on it you[h] shall wash in a holy place. 28 And a clay vessel in which it was boiled must be broken, but[i] if it was boiled in a bronze vessel, then[j] it shall be thoroughly scoured and rinsed with water. 29 Any male among the priests may eat it; it is a most holy thing.[k] 30 But[l] any sin offering from which some of[m] its blood is brought to the tent of assembly to make atonement in the sanctuary must not be eaten; it must be burned in the fire.’”
