Voorschriften betreffende de offers

6 Vervolgens zei de Here tegen Mozes: 2 ‘Als iemand tegen Mij zondigt door te weigeren iets dat hij heeft geleend of gehuurd, terug te geven of door te weigeren iets terug te geven dat hem is toevertrouwd of door roof of door zijn volksgenoot af te persen, 3 of door een verloren voorwerp te vinden en daarover te liegen en te zweren dat hij het niet heeft, 4,5 dan zal zo iemand op de dag dat hij schuldig is bevonden aan zoʼn zonde, moeten vergoeden wat hij zich heeft toegeëigend, met een extra boete van een vijfde deel en het teruggeven aan degene die hij heeft benadeeld. Op diezelfde dag zal hij zijn schuldoffer naar de tabernakel brengen. 6 Zijn schuldoffer moet een ram zonder gebreken zijn, naar een vastgestelde waarde. 7 Hij zal het naar de priester brengen en die zal de zonde waaraan hij schuldig is, verzoenen voor de Here en het zal hem worden vergeven.’

8 Toen zei de Here tegen Mozes: 9 ‘Geef Aäron en zijn zonen de volgende voorschriften betreffende het brandoffer: het brandoffer zal de hele nacht op het vuur van het altaar blijven liggen, terwijl het vuur blijft branden. 10 De volgende morgen zal de priester zijn linnen onderkleding en bovenkleding aantrekken en zal hij de as van het brandoffer weghalen en naast het altaar neerleggen. 11 Daarna zal hij zijn kleren verwisselen en de as naar een reine plaats buiten het kamp brengen. 12 Intussen moet het vuur op het altaar blijven branden, het mag niet uitgaan. De priester moet elke morgen nieuw hout op het vuur leggen en het dagelijkse brandoffer en het vet van het dagelijkse vredeoffer erop verbranden. 13 Het vuur op het altaar moet altijd brandende worden gehouden. Het mag niet uitgaan.

14 Dit zijn de voorschriften betreffende het spijsoffer: Aärons zonen zullen het voor de ogen van de Here voor het altaar brengen. 15 Een van hen zal een handvol nemen—fijn meel, olie en alle wierook—en het verbranden op het altaar als een gedenkoffer voor de Here. Dat zal de Here voldoening geven. 16 Nadat de handvol eruit is genomen, zal de rest van het meel en de olie aan Aäron en zijn zonen toebehoren als voedsel. Het moet ongezuurd worden gegeten in de voorhof van de tabernakel. 17 Het móet ongezuurd zijn. Ik heb de priesters dit deel van het spijsoffer, dat Mij toebehoort, gegeven. Het is allerheiligst, net als het zondoffer en het schuldoffer. 18 Iedere mannelijke afstammeling van Aäron, iedere priester, generatie na generatie, mag dit eten, ieder die ermee in aanraking komt, zal heilig worden.’

19,20 En de Here zei tegen Mozes: ‘Op de dag dat Aäron en zijn zonen tot priester worden gezalfd en gewijd, moeten zij de Here een spijsoffer brengen: 2,2 liter fijn meel, waarvan de ene helft ʼs morgens en de andere helft ʼs avonds moet worden geofferd. 21 Het moet op een bakplaat met olijfolie worden gemengd en gebakken en daarna aan de Here worden geofferd. De brandende stukken van het spijsoffer zullen aangenaam zijn voor de Here. 22,23 Als de zonen hun vaders opvolgen als priester, moet dit offer op hun inwijdingsdag worden gebracht. Dit is een regel die altijd van kracht blijft. Dit spijsoffer moet in zijn geheel voor de Here worden verbrand. Niets ervan mag worden gegeten.’

24 Toen sprak de Here opnieuw tegen Mozes en zei: 25 ‘Zeg tegen Aäron en zijn zonen dat dit de voorschriften betreffende het zondoffer zijn: dit offer is allerheiligst en moet voor de ogen van de Here worden geslacht. 26 De priester die deze offerdienst uitvoert, zal het vlees van het offer in de voorhof van de tabernakel eten. 27 Alleen zij die geheiligd zijn—de priesters—mogen dit vlees aanraken. Alles wat met het vlees in aanraking komt, is geheiligd. Als bloed op de kleren van de priester spat, moet dat kledingstuk op een heilige plaats worden gewassen. 28 De stenen pot waarin het vlees is gekookt, moet worden stukgeslagen. Als het vlees in een koperen pot is gekookt, moet die pot worden geschuurd en met water worden omgespoeld. 29 Iedere mannelijke priester mag van dit offer eten, maar alleen zij, want het is allerheiligst. 30 Geen enkel zondoffer echter, waarvan het bloed de tabernakel is binnengebracht om er in het heiligdom verzoening mee te doen, mag worden gegeten. Het moet in zijn geheel voor de Here worden verbrand.’

6 [a]The Lord said to Moses: 2 “If anyone sins and is unfaithful to the Lord(A) by deceiving a neighbor(B) about something entrusted to them or left in their care(C) or about something stolen, or if they cheat(D) their neighbor, 3 or if they find lost property and lie about it,(E) or if they swear falsely(F) about any such sin that people may commit— 4 when they sin in any of these ways and realize their guilt, they must return(G) what they have stolen or taken by extortion, or what was entrusted to them, or the lost property they found, 5 or whatever it was they swore falsely about. They must make restitution(H) in full, add a fifth of the value to it and give it all to the owner on the day they present their guilt offering.(I) 6 And as a penalty they must bring to the priest, that is, to the Lord, their guilt offering,(J) a ram from the flock, one without defect and of the proper value.(K) 7 In this way the priest will make atonement(L) for them before the Lord, and they will be forgiven for any of the things they did that made them guilty.”

The Burnt Offering

8 The Lord said to Moses: 9 “Give Aaron and his sons this command: ‘These are the regulations for the burnt offering(M): The burnt offering is to remain on the altar hearth throughout the night, till morning, and the fire must be kept burning on the altar.(N) 10 The priest shall then put on his linen clothes,(O) with linen undergarments next to his body,(P) and shall remove the ashes(Q) of the burnt offering that the fire has consumed on the altar and place them beside the altar. 11 Then he is to take off these clothes and put on others, and carry the ashes outside the camp to a place that is ceremonially clean.(R) 12 The fire on the altar must be kept burning; it must not go out. Every morning the priest is to add firewood(S) and arrange the burnt offering on the fire and burn the fat(T) of the fellowship offerings(U) on it. 13 The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously; it must not go out.

The Grain Offering

14 “‘These are the regulations for the grain offering:(V) Aaron’s sons are to bring it before the Lord, in front of the altar. 15 The priest is to take a handful of the finest flour and some olive oil, together with all the incense(W) on the grain offering,(X) and burn the memorial[b] portion(Y) on the altar as an aroma pleasing to the Lord. 16 Aaron and his sons(Z) shall eat the rest(AA) of it, but it is to be eaten without yeast(AB) in the sanctuary area;(AC) they are to eat it in the courtyard(AD) of the tent of meeting.(AE) 17 It must not be baked with yeast; I have given it as their share(AF) of the food offerings presented to me.(AG) Like the sin offering[c] and the guilt offering, it is most holy.(AH) 18 Any male descendant of Aaron may eat it.(AI) For all generations to come(AJ) it is his perpetual share(AK) of the food offerings presented to the Lord. Whatever touches them will become holy.[d](AL)’”

19 The Lord also said to Moses, 20 “This is the offering Aaron and his sons are to bring to the Lord on the day he[e] is anointed:(AM) a tenth of an ephah[f](AN) of the finest flour(AO) as a regular grain offering,(AP) half of it in the morning and half in the evening. 21 It must be prepared with oil on a griddle;(AQ) bring it well-mixed and present the grain offering broken[g] in pieces as an aroma pleasing to the Lord. 22 The son who is to succeed him as anointed priest(AR) shall prepare it. It is the Lord’s perpetual share and is to be burned completely.(AS) 23 Every grain offering of a priest shall be burned completely; it must not be eaten.”

The Sin Offering

24 The Lord said to Moses, 25 “Say to Aaron and his sons: ‘These are the regulations for the sin offering:(AT) The sin offering is to be slaughtered before the Lord(AU) in the place(AV) the burnt offering is slaughtered; it is most holy. 26 The priest who offers it shall eat it; it is to be eaten in the sanctuary area,(AW) in the courtyard(AX) of the tent of meeting.(AY) 27 Whatever touches any of the flesh will become holy,(AZ) and if any of the blood is spattered on a garment, you must wash it in the sanctuary area. 28 The clay pot(BA) the meat is cooked in must be broken; but if it is cooked in a bronze pot, the pot is to be scoured and rinsed with water. 29 Any male in a priest’s family may eat it;(BB) it is most holy.(BC) 30 But any sin offering whose blood is brought into the tent of meeting to make atonement(BD) in the Holy Place(BE) must not be eaten; it must be burned up.(BF)

Laws About the Burnt Offering, the Grain Offering, and the Sin Offering

6 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 2 “If a person sins and (A)commits a trespass against the Lord by (B)lying[a] to his neighbor about (C)what was delivered to him for safekeeping, or about [b]a pledge, or about a robbery, or if he has (D)extorted from his neighbor, 3 or if he (E)has found what was lost and lies concerning it, and (F)swears falsely—in any one of these things that a man may do in which he sins: 4 then it shall be, because he has sinned and is guilty, that he shall [c]restore (G)what he has stolen, or the thing which he has extorted, or what was delivered to him for safekeeping, or the lost thing which he found, 5 or all that about which he has sworn falsely. He shall (H)restore its full value, add one-fifth more to it, and give it to whomever it belongs, on the day of his trespass offering. 6 And he shall bring his trespass offering to the Lord, (I)a ram without blemish from the flock, with your [d]valuation, as a trespass offering, to the priest. 7 (J)So the priest shall make atonement for him before the Lord, and he shall be forgiven for any one of these things that he may have done in which he trespasses.”

The Law of the Burnt Offering

8 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 9 “Command Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the (K)law of the burnt offering: The burnt offering shall be on the hearth upon the altar all night until morning, and the fire of the altar shall be kept burning on it. 10 (L)And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen trousers he shall put on his body, and take up the ashes of the burnt offering which the fire has consumed on the altar, and he shall put them (M)beside the altar. 11 Then (N)he shall take off his garments, put on other garments, and carry the ashes outside the camp (O)to a clean place. 12 And the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not be put out. And the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order on it; and he shall burn on it (P)the fat of the peace offerings. 13 A fire shall always be burning on the (Q)altar; it shall never go out.

The Law of the Grain Offering

14 ‘This is the law of the grain offering: The sons of Aaron shall offer it on the altar before the Lord. 15 He shall take from it his handful of the fine flour of the grain offering, with its oil, and all the frankincense which is on the grain offering, and shall burn it on the altar for a sweet aroma, as a memorial to the Lord. 16 And the remainder of it Aaron and his sons shall eat; with unleavened bread it shall be eaten in a holy place; in the court of the tabernacle of meeting they shall eat it. 17 It shall not be baked with leaven. I have given it as their [e]portion of My offerings made by fire; it is most holy, like the sin offering and the (R)trespass offering. 18 (S)All the males among the children of Aaron may eat it. (T)It shall be a statute forever in your generations concerning the offerings made by fire to the Lord. (U)Everyone who touches them must be holy.’ ”

19 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 20 (V)“This is the offering of Aaron and his sons, which they shall offer to the Lord, beginning on the day when he is anointed: one-tenth of an (W)ephah of fine flour as a daily grain offering, half of it in the morning and half of it at night. 21 It shall be made in a (X)pan with oil. When it is mixed, you shall bring it in. The baked pieces of the grain offering you shall offer for a [f]sweet aroma to the Lord. 22 The priest from among his sons, (Y)who is anointed in his place, shall offer it. It is a statute forever to the Lord. (Z)It shall be [g]wholly burned. 23 For every grain offering for the priest shall be wholly burned. It shall not be eaten.”

The Law of the Sin Offering

24 Also the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 25 “Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, ‘This is the law of the sin offering: (AA)In the place where the burnt offering is killed, the sin offering shall be killed before the Lord. It is most holy. 26 (AB)The priest who offers it for sin shall eat it. In a holy place it shall be eaten, in the court of the tabernacle of meeting. 27 (AC)Everyone who touches its flesh [h]must be holy. And when its blood is sprinkled on any garment, you shall wash that on which it was sprinkled, in a holy place. 28 But the earthen vessel in which it is boiled (AD)shall be broken. And if it is boiled in a bronze pot, it shall be both scoured and rinsed in water. 29 All the males among the priests may eat it. It is most holy. 30 (AE)But no sin offering from which any of the blood is brought into the tabernacle of meeting, to make atonement in [i]the holy (AF)place, shall be (AG)eaten. It shall be (AH)burned in the fire.

6 [a] The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “If anyone sins and (A)commits a breach of faith against the Lord by (B)deceiving his neighbor in (C)a matter of deposit or security, or through robbery, or (D)if he has oppressed his neighbor 3 or (E)has found something lost and lied about it, (F)swearing falsely—in any of all the things that people do and sin thereby— 4 if he has sinned and has realized his guilt and will restore (G)what he took by robbery or what he got by oppression or the deposit that was committed to him or the lost thing that he found 5 or anything about which he has sworn falsely, he shall (H)restore it in full and shall add a fifth to it, and give it to him to whom it belongs on the day he realizes his guilt. 6 And he shall bring to the priest as his compensation to the Lord (I)a ram without blemish out of the flock, or its equivalent, for a guilt offering. 7 (J)And the priest shall make atonement for him before the Lord, and he shall be forgiven for any of the things that one may do and thereby become guilty.”

The Priests and the Offerings

8 [b] The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 9 “Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering. The burnt offering shall be on the hearth on the altar all night until the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be kept burning on it. 10 And (K)the priest shall put on his linen garment and put his linen undergarment on his body, and he shall take up the ashes to which the fire has reduced the burnt offering on the altar and put them (L)beside the altar. 11 Then (M)he shall take off his garments and put on other garments and carry the ashes (N)outside the camp to a clean place. 12 The fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not go out. 祭司獻燔祭的責任

8 耶和華吩咐摩西說： 9 「你要吩咐亞倫和他的子孫說，燔祭的條例是這樣：燔祭要放在壇的底盤上，從晚上到天亮，壇上的火要不斷地燒着。 10 祭司要穿上細麻布衣服，又要把細麻布褲子穿在身上，把在壇上燒剩的燔祭灰收起來，放在壇的旁邊。 11 然後，他要脫去這衣服，穿上別的衣服，把灰拿到營外潔淨之處。 12 壇上的火要不斷地燒着，不可熄滅。每日早晨，祭司要在壇上燒柴，把燔祭擺在壇上，並燒平安祭牲的脂肪。 13 壇上的火要不斷地燒着，不可熄滅。」

祭司獻素祭的責任

14 「素祭的條例是這樣：亞倫的子孫要在壇前把這祭獻在耶和華面前。 15 祭司要從素祭中的細麵取出一把，再取些油和素祭上所有的乳香，把這些作為紀念的燒在壇上，是獻給耶和華為馨香的祭。 16 亞倫和他子孫要吃素祭剩下的；要在聖處吃這無酵餅，在會幕的院子裏吃。 17 烤餅不可加酵。這是從獻給我的火祭中歸給他們的一份；如贖罪祭和贖愆祭一樣，這份是至聖的。 18 亞倫子孫中的男丁都要吃，因為這是你們世世代代從獻給耶和華的火祭中，他們永遠應得的份。凡摸這些祭物的都要成為聖。」

19 耶和華吩咐摩西說： 20 「這是亞倫受膏的日子，他和他的子孫所要獻給耶和華的供物：十分之一伊法細麵，如他們經常獻的素祭，早晨一半，晚上一半。 21 要在鐵盤上用油調和，調勻後，就拿去烤。素祭烤熟了要分成小塊，作為獻給耶和華馨香的祭。 22 亞倫子孫中接續他受膏為祭司的，要把這素祭獻上，全燒給耶和華。這是永遠的定例。 23 祭司一切的素祭要全部燒了，不可以吃。」

祭司獻贖罪祭的責任

24 耶和華吩咐摩西說： 25 「你要吩咐亞倫和他的子孫說，贖罪祭的條例是這樣：要在耶和華面前宰燔祭牲的地方宰贖罪祭牲；這是至聖的。 26 獻贖罪祭的祭司要吃這祭物；要在聖處，就是在會幕的院子裏吃。 27 凡摸這祭肉的都要成為聖；這祭牲的血若濺在衣服上，你要在聖處洗淨那濺到血的衣服[b]。 28 煮這祭物的瓦器要打碎；若祭物是在銅器裏煮，要把這銅器擦淨，用水沖洗。 29 祭司中所有的男丁都可以吃；這是至聖的。 30 若將任何贖罪祭的血帶進會幕，為要在聖所贖罪，那肉就不可吃，要用火焚燒。」
