The Peace Offering
3 ‘When his offering is a (A)sacrifice of a peace offering, if he offers it of the herd, whether male or female, he shall offer it (B)without [a]blemish before the Lord. 2 And (C)he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the tabernacle of meeting; and Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall (D)sprinkle the blood all around on the altar. 3 Then he shall offer from the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire to the Lord. (E)The fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails, 4 the two kidneys and the fat that is on them by the flanks, and the fatty lobe attached to the liver above the kidneys, he shall remove; 5 and Aaron’s sons (F)shall burn it on the altar upon the (G)burnt sacrifice, which is on the wood that is on the fire, as an (H)offering made by fire, a (I)sweet aroma to the Lord.
6 ‘If his offering as a sacrifice of a peace offering to the Lord is of the flock, whether male or female, (J)he shall offer it without blemish. 7 If he offers a (K)lamb as his offering, then he shall (L)offer it (M)before the Lord. 8 And he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it before the tabernacle of meeting; and Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle its blood all around on the altar.
9 ‘Then he shall offer from the sacrifice of the peace offering, as an offering made by fire to the Lord, its fat and the whole fat tail which he shall remove close to the backbone. And the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails, 10 the two kidneys and the fat that is on them by the flanks, and the fatty lobe attached to the liver above the kidneys, he shall remove; 11 and the priest shall burn them on the altar as (N)food, an offering made by fire to the Lord.
12 ‘And if his (O)offering is a goat, then (P)he shall offer it before the Lord. 13 He shall lay his hand on its head and kill it before the tabernacle of meeting; and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle its blood all around on the altar. 14 Then he shall offer from it his offering, as an offering made by fire to the Lord. The fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails, 15 the two kidneys and the fat that is on them by the flanks, and the fatty lobe attached to the liver above the kidneys, he shall remove; 16 and the priest shall burn them on the altar as food, an offering made by fire for a sweet aroma; (Q)all the fat is the Lord’s.
17 ‘This shall be a (R)perpetual[b] statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings: you shall eat neither fat nor (S)blood.’ ”

3 »Si alguien ofrece ganado vacuno al Señor como sacrificio de comunión, deberá presentarle un animal sin defecto, sea macho o hembra. 2 Pondrá su mano sobre la cabeza del animal, al que degollará a la entrada de la Tienda de reunión. Luego los hijos de Aarón, los sacerdotes, derramarán la sangre alrededor del altar. 3 El oferente presentará al Señor, como ofrenda puesta al fuego, las siguientes partes del sacrificio de comunión: la grasa que recubre los intestinos y la que se adhiere a estos, 4 los dos riñones y la grasa que los recubre, la grasa que recubre los lomos, y también el lóbulo del hígado, el cual se extraerá junto con los riñones. 5 Entonces los hijos de Aarón quemarán todo esto en el altar, encima del holocausto que está sobre la leña encendida. Es una ofrenda puesta al fuego cuyo aroma es grato al Señor.
6 »Si el sacrificio de comunión es de ganado ovino, el oferente deberá presentarle al Señor un animal sin defecto, sea macho o hembra. 7 Si la ofrenda es un cordero, lo presentará ante el Señor 8 y le impondrá la mano sobre la cabeza, degollando luego al animal ante la Tienda de reunión. Luego los hijos de Aarón derramarán la sangre alrededor del altar. 9 El oferente presentará al Señor, como ofrenda puesta al fuego, las siguientes partes de este sacrificio: la grasa, la cola entera (la cual cortará junto al espinazo), la grasa que recubre los intestinos y la que se adhiere a estos, 10 los dos riñones y la grasa que los recubre, la grasa que recubre los lomos, y también el lóbulo del hígado, el cual se extraerá junto con los riñones. 11 Entonces el sacerdote quemará todo esto en el altar. Es una comida, una ofrenda puesta al fuego ante el Señor.
12 »Si la ofrenda es una cabra, la presentará ante el Señor 13 poniendo la mano sobre la cabeza del animal, al que degollará ante la Tienda de reunión. Luego los hijos de Aarón derramarán la sangre alrededor del altar. 14 El oferente presentará al Señor, como ofrenda puesta al fuego, las siguientes partes del animal: la grasa que recubre los intestinos y la que se adhiere a estos, 15 los dos riñones y la grasa que los recubre, la grasa que recubre los lomos, y también el lóbulo del hígado, el cual se extraerá junto con los riñones. 16 Entonces el sacerdote quemará todo esto en el altar. Es una comida, una ofrenda puesta al fuego cuyo aroma es grato. Toda la grasa pertenece al Señor.
17 »Este será un estatuto perpetuo para los descendientes de ustedes, dondequiera que habiten: no se comerán la grasa ni la sangre».
