The Fellowship Offering

“‘If your offering is a fellowship offering,(A) and you offer an animal from the herd, whether male or female, you are to present before the Lord an animal without defect.(B) You are to lay your hand on the head(C) of your offering and slaughter it(D) at the entrance to the tent of meeting.(E) Then Aaron’s sons the priests shall splash(F) the blood against the sides(G) of the altar.(H) From the fellowship offering you are to bring a food offering to the Lord: the internal organs(I) and all the fat(J) that is connected to them, both kidneys(K) with the fat on them near the loins, and the long lobe of the liver, which you will remove with the kidneys. Then Aaron’s sons(L) are to burn it on the altar(M) on top of the burnt offering(N) that is lying on the burning wood;(O) it is a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.(P)

“‘If you offer an animal from the flock as a fellowship offering(Q) to the Lord, you are to offer a male or female without defect. If you offer a lamb,(R) you are to present it before the Lord,(S) lay your hand on its head and slaughter it(T) in front of the tent of meeting. Then Aaron’s sons shall splash its blood against the sides of the altar. From the fellowship offering you are to bring a food offering(U) to the Lord: its fat, the entire fat tail cut off close to the backbone, the internal organs and all the fat that is connected to them, 10 both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the long lobe of the liver, which you will remove with the kidneys. 11 The priest shall burn them on the altar(V) as a food offering(W) presented to the Lord.(X)

12 “‘If your offering is a goat,(Y) you are to present it before the Lord, 13 lay your hand on its head and slaughter it in front of the tent of meeting. Then Aaron’s sons shall splash(Z) its blood against the sides of the altar.(AA) 14 From what you offer you are to present this food offering to the Lord: the internal organs and all the fat that is connected to them, 15 both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the long lobe of the liver, which you will remove with the kidneys.(AB) 16 The priest shall burn them on the altar(AC) as a food offering,(AD) a pleasing aroma.(AE) All the fat(AF) is the Lord’s.(AG)

17 “‘This is a lasting ordinance(AH) for the generations to come,(AI) wherever you live:(AJ) You must not eat any fat or any blood.(AK)’”

The Peace Offering

‘When his offering is a (A)sacrifice of a peace offering, if he offers it of the herd, whether male or female, he shall offer it (B)without [a]blemish before the Lord. And (C)he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the tabernacle of meeting; and Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall (D)sprinkle the blood all around on the altar. Then he shall offer from the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire to the Lord. (E)The fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails, the two kidneys and the fat that is on them by the flanks, and the fatty lobe attached to the liver above the kidneys, he shall remove; and Aaron’s sons (F)shall burn it on the altar upon the (G)burnt sacrifice, which is on the wood that is on the fire, as an (H)offering made by fire, a (I)sweet aroma to the Lord.

‘If his offering as a sacrifice of a peace offering to the Lord is of the flock, whether male or female, (J)he shall offer it without blemish. If he offers a (K)lamb as his offering, then he shall (L)offer it (M)before the Lord. And he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it before the tabernacle of meeting; and Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle its blood all around on the altar.

‘Then he shall offer from the sacrifice of the peace offering, as an offering made by fire to the Lord, its fat and the whole fat tail which he shall remove close to the backbone. And the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails, 10 the two kidneys and the fat that is on them by the flanks, and the fatty lobe attached to the liver above the kidneys, he shall remove; 11 and the priest shall burn them on the altar as (N)food, an offering made by fire to the Lord.

12 ‘And if his (O)offering is a goat, then (P)he shall offer it before the Lord. 13 He shall lay his hand on its head and kill it before the tabernacle of meeting; and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle its blood all around on the altar. 14 Then he shall offer from it his offering, as an offering made by fire to the Lord. The fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails, 15 the two kidneys and the fat that is on them by the flanks, and the fatty lobe attached to the liver above the kidneys, he shall remove; 16 and the priest shall burn them on the altar as food, an offering made by fire for a sweet aroma; (Q)all the fat is the Lord’s.

17 This shall be a (R)perpetual[b] statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings: you shall eat neither fat nor (S)blood.’ ”

Jertfele de mulţumire

Când cineva va aduce Domnului un dar ca jertfă(A) de mulţumire, dacă îl va aduce din cireadă, fie parte bărbătească, fie parte femeiască, s-o aducă fără(B) cusur înaintea Domnului. Să pună(C) mâna pe capul dobitocului, să-l junghie la uşa cortului întâlnirii, şi preoţii, fiii lui Aaron, să stropească sângele pe altar de jur împrejur. Din această jertfă de mulţumire, să aducă drept jertfă mistuită de foc înaintea Domnului grăsimea(D) care acoperă măruntaiele şi toată grăsimea care ţine de măruntaie, cei doi rărunchi şi grăsimea de pe ei şi de pe coapse, şi prapurul de pe ficat, pe care-l va dezlipi de lângă rărunchi. Fiii lui Aaron să le ardă(E) pe altar, deasupra arderii-de-tot, care va fi pe lemnele de pe foc. Aceasta este o jertfă mistuită de foc, de un miros plăcut Domnului. Dacă darul pe care-l aduce ca jertfă de mulţumire Domnului va fi din turmă, fie parte bărbătească, fie parte femeiască, s-o aducă fără(F) cusur. Dacă va aduce jertfă un miel, să-l aducă înaintea Domnului. Să-şi pună mâna pe capul dobitocului şi să-l junghie înaintea cortului întâlnirii; fiii lui Aaron să-i stropească sângele pe altar, de jur împrejur. Din această jertfă de mulţumire, să aducă o jertfă mistuită de foc înaintea Domnului, şi anume: grăsimea, coada întreagă, pe care o va desface de la osul spinării, grăsimea care acoperă măruntaiele şi toată grăsimea care ţine de măruntaie, 10 cei doi rărunchi şi grăsimea de pe ei, de pe coapse, şi prapurul ficatului, pe care-l va dezlipi de lângă rărunchi. 11 Preotul să le ardă pe altar. Aceasta este mâncarea(G) unei jertfe mistuite de foc înaintea Domnului. 12 Dacă darul lui va fi o capră, s-o aducă(H) înaintea Domnului. 13 Să-şi pună mâna pe capul vitei şi s-o junghie înaintea cortului întâlnirii, şi fiii lui Aaron să-i stropească sângele pe altar, de jur împrejur. 14 Apoi, din ea să aducă drept jertfă mistuită de foc înaintea Domnului: grăsimea care acoperă măruntaiele şi toată grăsimea care ţine de ele, 15 cei doi rărunchi şi grăsimea de pe ei, de pe coapse, şi prapurul ficatului, pe care-l va dezlipi de lângă rărunchi. 16 Preotul să le ardă pe altar. Aceasta este mâncarea unei jertfe mistuite de foc, de un miros plăcut Domnului. Toată(I) grăsimea este a Domnului. 17 Aceasta este o lege(J) veşnică pentru urmaşii voştri, în toate locurile unde veţi locui. Cu niciun chip să nu mâncaţi nici grăsime(K), nici sânge(L).’ ”
