22 If he consecrates a field that he had bought and that isn’t part of his inheritance, 23 then the priest is to account to him the evaluated worth until the year of jubilee. Then he is to give the amount of valuation on that day as a holy gift to the Lord. 24 During the year of jubilee, the field is to be returned by the one who originally sold it—that is, to the owner of the land.

22 “‘If anyone dedicates to the Lord a field they have bought, which is not part of their family land, 23 the priest will determine its value up to the Year of Jubilee,(A) and the owner must pay its value on that day as something holy to the Lord. 24 In the Year of Jubilee the field will revert to the person from whom it was bought,(B) the one whose land it was.
