⁴⁶ These are the decrees, regulations, and instructions that the Lord gave through Moses on Mount Sinai as evidence of the relationship between himself and the Israelites.

12 “These are the decrees and regulations you must be careful to obey when you live in the land that the Lord, the God of your ancestors, is giving you. You must obey them as long as you live.

A Call for Wholehearted Commitment

6 “These are the commands, decrees, and regulations that the Lord your God commanded me to teach you. You must obey them in the land you are about to enter and occupy,

⁴ Serve only the Lord your God and fear him alone. Obey his commands, listen to his voice, and cling to him.

The Sabbath Year

25 While Moses was on Mount Sinai, the Lord said to him,

¹⁷ For the law was given through Moses, but God’s unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ.

³⁷ So this was the total of all those from the Kohathite clans who were eligible to serve at the Tabernacle. Moses and Aaron listed them, just as the Lord had commanded through Moses.

³⁶ So Aaron and his sons did everything the Lord had commanded through Moses.
