¹⁶ Moreover, the one who ^(A)blasphemes the name of the Lord shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall certainly stone him. The alien as well as the native, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.

⁶³ But ^(A)Jesus kept silent. ^(B)And the high priest said to Him, “I ^[a](C)adjure You by ^(D)the living God, that You tell us whether You are ^[b]the Christ, ^(E)the Son of God.” ⁶⁴ Jesus *said to him, “^(F)You have said it yourself; nevertheless I tell you, ^[c]hereafter you will see ^(G)the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and ^(H)coming on the clouds of heaven.”

⁶⁵ Then the high priest ^(I)tore his ^[d]robes and said, “He has blasphemed! What further need do we have of witnesses? Behold, you have now heard the blasphemy; ⁶⁶ what do you think?” They answered, “^(J)He deserves death!”
