The Passover

‘These are the (A)appointed times of Yahweh, holy convocations which you shall proclaim at the times appointed for them. (B)In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month [a]at twilight is the Passover of Yahweh. Then on the fifteenth day of the same month there is the (C)Feast of Unleavened Bread to Yahweh; for seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. On the first day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall (D)not do any laborious work. But for seven days you shall bring near an offering by fire to Yahweh. On the seventh day is a holy convocation; you shall not do any laborious work.’”

For seven days you must eat unleavened bread. On the first day you are to hold a sacred assembly; you are not to do any daily work. You are to present a fire offering to the Lord for seven days. On the seventh day there will be a sacred assembly; you must not do any daily work.”
