The Passover

‘These are the (A)appointed times of Yahweh, holy convocations which you shall proclaim at the times appointed for them. (B)In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month [a]at twilight is the Passover of Yahweh. Then on the fifteenth day of the same month there is the (C)Feast of Unleavened Bread to Yahweh; for seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. On the first day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall (D)not do any laborious work. But for seven days you shall bring near an offering by fire to Yahweh. On the seventh day is a holy convocation; you shall not do any laborious work.’”

The Festival of Passover

The first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, at twilight, is the Lord’s Passover, and the fifteenth day of this month is the Festival of Unleavened Bread for the Lord. You shall eat unleavened bread for seven days. On the first day a holy convocation is to be proclaimed for you. You shall not do any work in your regular occupation. You shall present an offering by fire to the Lord for seven days. The seventh day shall be proclaimed as a holy convocation. You shall not do any work for your regular occupation.
