6 and on the fifteenth day of the same month is the Festival of Unleavened Bread to the Lord; seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. 7 On the first day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall not work at your occupations.(A) 8 For seven days you shall present the Lord’s offerings by fire;[a] on the seventh day there shall be a holy convocation: you shall not work at your occupations.”

6 Your boasting is not a good thing. Do you not know that a little yeast leavens all of the dough?(A) 7 Clean out the old yeast so that you may be a new batch of dough, as you really are unleavened. For our paschal lamb, Christ, has been sacrificed.(B) 8 Therefore, let us celebrate the festival, not with the old yeast, the yeast of malice and evil, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.(C)
