Leviticus 22:27-29

27 (A)“When a bull or a sheep or a goat is born, it shall be seven days with its mother; and from the eighth day and thereafter it shall be accepted as an offering made by fire to the Lord. 28 Whether it is a cow or ewe, do not kill both her (B)and her young on the same day. 29 And when you (C)offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving to the Lord, offer it of your own free will.

27 (A)“When an ox or sheep or goat is born, it shall remain seven days with its mother, and from the eighth day on it shall be acceptable as a food offering to the Lord. 28 But you shall not kill an ox or a sheep (B)and her young in one day. 29 And when you sacrifice a (C)sacrifice of thanksgiving to the Lord, you shall sacrifice it so that you may be accepted.
