Leviticus 22:26-33
New International Version
26 The Lord said to Moses, 27 “When a calf, a lamb or a goat(A) is born, it is to remain with its mother for seven days.(B) From the eighth day(C) on, it will be acceptable(D) as a food offering presented to the Lord. 28 Do not slaughter a cow or a sheep and its young on the same day.(E)
29 “When you sacrifice a thank offering(F) to the Lord, sacrifice it in such a way that it will be accepted on your behalf. 30 It must be eaten that same day; leave none of it till morning.(G) I am the Lord.(H)
31 “Keep(I) my commands and follow them.(J) I am the Lord. 32 Do not profane my holy name,(K) for I must be acknowledged as holy by the Israelites.(L) I am the Lord, who made you holy(M) 33 and who brought you out of Egypt(N) to be your God.(O) I am the Lord.”
