26 “You shall not eat anything with its blood. You shall not practice augury or witchcraft.(A) 27 You shall not round off the hair on your temples or mar the edges of your beard.(B) 28 You shall not make any gashes in your flesh for the dead or tattoo any marks upon you: I am the Lord.(C)
29 “Do not profane your daughter by making her a prostitute, that the land not become prostituted and full of depravity.(D)

26 “You are not to eat anything containing blood, engage in occult practices,[a] or practice fortune telling.[b]
27 “You are not to cut your hair in ritualistic patterns[c] on your head or deface the edges of your beard.
28 “You are not to make incisions in your flesh on account of the dead nor submit to cuts or tattoos. I am the Lord.
29 “You are not to defile your daughter by engaging her in prostitution so the land won’t become filled with wickedness.
