¹⁶ In this way he will make atonement^(A) for the Most Holy Place^(B) because of the uncleanness and rebellion of the Israelites, whatever their sins have been. He is to do the same for the tent of meeting,^(C) which is among them in the midst of their uncleanness.

46 “‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: The gate of the inner court^(A) facing east^(B) is to be shut on the six working days, but on the Sabbath day and on the day of the New Moon^(C) it is to be opened.

³ On the Sabbaths^(A) and New Moons the people of the land are to worship in the presence of the Lord at the entrance of that gateway.^(B)

⁶ On the day of the New Moon^(A) he is to offer a young bull, six lambs and a ram, all without defect.^(B)
