Discharges Causing Uncleanness
15 The Lord said to Moses and Aaron, 2 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When any man has an unusual bodily discharge,(A) such a discharge is unclean. 3 Whether it continues flowing from his body or is blocked, it will make him unclean. This is how his discharge will bring about uncleanness:
4 “‘Any bed the man with a discharge lies on will be unclean, and anything he sits on will be unclean. 5 Anyone who touches his bed must wash their clothes(B) and bathe with water,(C) and they will be unclean till evening.(D) 6 Whoever sits on anything that the man with a discharge sat on must wash their clothes and bathe with water, and they will be unclean till evening.
7 “‘Whoever touches the man(E) who has a discharge(F) must wash their clothes and bathe with water, and they will be unclean till evening.
8 “‘If the man with the discharge spits(G) on anyone who is clean, they must wash their clothes and bathe with water, and they will be unclean till evening.
9 “‘Everything the man sits on when riding will be unclean, 10 and whoever touches any of the things that were under him will be unclean till evening; whoever picks up those things(H) must wash their clothes and bathe with water, and they will be unclean till evening.
11 “‘Anyone the man with a discharge touches without rinsing his hands with water must wash their clothes and bathe with water, and they will be unclean till evening.
12 “‘A clay pot(I) that the man touches must be broken, and any wooden article(J) is to be rinsed with water.
13 “‘When a man is cleansed from his discharge, he is to count off seven days(K) for his ceremonial cleansing; he must wash his clothes and bathe himself with fresh water, and he will be clean.(L) 14 On the eighth day he must take two doves or two young pigeons(M) and come before the Lord to the entrance to the tent of meeting and give them to the priest. 15 The priest is to sacrifice them, the one for a sin offering[a](N) and the other for a burnt offering.(O) In this way he will make atonement before the Lord for the man because of his discharge.(P)
16 “‘When a man has an emission of semen,(Q) he must bathe his whole body with water, and he will be unclean till evening.(R) 17 Any clothing or leather that has semen on it must be washed with water, and it will be unclean till evening. 18 When a man has sexual relations with a woman and there is an emission of semen,(S) both of them must bathe with water, and they will be unclean till evening.
19 “‘When a woman has her regular flow of blood, the impurity of her monthly period(T) will last seven days, and anyone who touches her will be unclean till evening.
20 “‘Anything she lies on during her period will be unclean, and anything she sits on will be unclean. 21 Anyone who touches her bed will be unclean; they must wash their clothes and bathe with water, and they will be unclean till evening.(U) 22 Anyone who touches anything she sits on will be unclean; they must wash their clothes and bathe with water, and they will be unclean till evening. 23 Whether it is the bed or anything she was sitting on, when anyone touches it, they will be unclean till evening.
24 “‘If a man has sexual relations with her and her monthly flow(V) touches him, he will be unclean for seven days; any bed he lies on will be unclean.
25 “‘When a woman has a discharge of blood for many days at a time other than her monthly period(W) or has a discharge that continues beyond her period, she will be unclean as long as she has the discharge, just as in the days of her period. 26 Any bed she lies on while her discharge continues will be unclean, as is her bed during her monthly period, and anything she sits on will be unclean, as during her period. 27 Anyone who touches them will be unclean; they must wash their clothes and bathe with water, and they will be unclean till evening.
28 “‘When she is cleansed from her discharge, she must count off seven days, and after that she will be ceremonially clean. 29 On the eighth day she must take two doves or two young pigeons(X) and bring them to the priest at the entrance to the tent of meeting. 30 The priest is to sacrifice one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering. In this way he will make atonement for her before the Lord for the uncleanness of her discharge.(Y)
31 “‘You must keep the Israelites separate from things that make them unclean, so they will not die in their uncleanness for defiling my dwelling place,[b](Z) which is among them.’”
32 These are the regulations for a man with a discharge, for anyone made unclean by an emission of semen,(AA) 33 for a woman in her monthly period, for a man or a woman with a discharge, and for a man who has sexual relations with a woman who is ceremonially unclean.(AB)

15 And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, 2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: (A)‘When any man has a discharge from his body, his discharge is unclean. 3 And this shall be his uncleanness in regard to his discharge—whether his body runs with his discharge, or his body is stopped up by his discharge, it is his uncleanness. 4 Every bed is [a]unclean on which he who has the discharge lies, and everything on which he sits shall be unclean. 5 And whoever (B)touches his bed shall (C)wash his clothes and (D)bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. 6 He who sits on anything on which he who has the (E)discharge sat shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. 7 And he who touches the body of him who has the discharge shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. 8 If he who has the discharge (F)spits on him who is clean, then he shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. 9 Any saddle on which he who has the discharge rides shall be unclean. 10 Whoever touches anything that was under him shall be unclean until evening. He who carries any of those things shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. 11 And whomever the one who has the discharge touches, and has not rinsed his hands in water, he shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. 12 The (G)vessel of earth that he who has the discharge touches shall be broken, and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water.
13 ‘And when he who has a discharge is cleansed of his discharge, then (H)he shall count for himself seven days for his cleansing, wash his clothes, and bathe his body in running water; then he shall be clean. 14 On the eighth day he shall take for himself (I)two turtledoves or two young pigeons, and come before the Lord, to the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and give them to the priest. 15 Then the priest shall offer them, (J)the one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering. (K)So the priest shall make [b]atonement for him before the Lord because of his discharge.
16 (L)‘If any man has an emission of semen, then he shall wash all his body in water, and be unclean until evening. 17 And any garment and any leather on which there is semen, it shall be washed with water, and be unclean until evening. 18 Also, when a woman lies with a man, and there is an emission of semen, they shall bathe in water, and (M)be unclean until evening.
19 (N)‘If a woman has a discharge, and the discharge from her body is blood, she shall be [c]set apart seven days; and whoever touches her shall be unclean until evening. 20 Everything that she lies on during her impurity shall be unclean; also everything that she sits on shall be unclean. 21 Whoever touches her bed shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. 22 And whoever touches anything that she sat on shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. 23 If anything is on her bed or on anything on which she sits, when he touches it, he shall be unclean until evening. 24 And (O)if any man lies with her at all, so that her impurity is on him, he shall be [d]unclean seven days; and every bed on which he lies shall be unclean.
25 ‘If (P)a woman has a discharge of blood for many days, other than at the time of her customary impurity, or if it runs beyond her usual time of impurity, all the days of her unclean discharge shall be as the days of her customary impurity. She shall be unclean. 26 Every bed on which she lies all the days of her discharge shall be to her as the bed of her impurity; and whatever she sits on shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her impurity. 27 Whoever touches those things shall be unclean; he shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.
28 ‘But (Q)if she is cleansed of her discharge, then she shall count for herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean. 29 And on the eighth day she shall take for herself two turtledoves or two young pigeons, and bring them to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of meeting. 30 Then the priest shall offer the one as a sin offering and the other as a (R)burnt offering, and the priest shall make atonement for her before the Lord for the discharge of her uncleanness.
31 ‘Thus you shall (S)separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness, lest they die in their uncleanness when they (T)defile My tabernacle that is among them. 32 (U)This is the law for one who has a discharge, (V)and for him who emits semen and is unclean thereby, 33 (W)and for her who is indisposed because of her customary impurity, and for one who has a discharge, either man (X)or woman, (Y)and for him who lies with her who is unclean.’ ”

13 “And when the one with a discharge is cleansed of his discharge, then (E)he shall count for himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes. Everything also on which she sits shall be unclean. 21 And whoever touches her bed shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water and be unclean until the evening. 22 And whoever touches anything on which she sits shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water and be unclean until the evening. 23 Whether it is the bed or anything on which she sits, when he touches it he shall be unclean until the evening. 24 And (L)if any man lies with her and her menstrual impurity comes upon him, he shall be unclean seven days, and every bed on which he lies shall be unclean.
25 “If (M)a woman has a discharge of blood for many days, not at the time of her menstrual impurity, or if she has a discharge beyond the time of her impurity, all the days of the discharge she shall continue in uncleanness. As in the days of her impurity, she shall be unclean. 26 Every bed on which she lies, all the days of her discharge, shall be to her as the bed of her impurity. And everything on which she sits shall be unclean, as in the uncleanness of her menstrual impurity. 27 And whoever touches these things shall be unclean, and shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water and be unclean until the evening. 28 But (N)if she is cleansed of her discharge, she shall count for herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean. 29 And on the eighth day she shall take two (O)turtledoves or two pigeons and bring them to the priest, to the entrance of the tent of meeting. 30 And the priest shall use one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering. And the priest shall make atonement for her before the Lord for her unclean discharge.
31 “Thus you shall keep the people of Israel separate from their uncleanness, lest they die in their uncleanness by (P)defiling my tabernacle that is in their midst.”
32 This is the law (Q)for him who has a discharge and (R)for him who has an emission of semen, becoming unclean thereby; 33 (S)also for her who is unwell with her menstrual impurity, that is, for anyone, (T)male or (U)female, who has a discharge, and for the (V)man who lies with a woman who is unclean.

2 «Digan a los hijos de Israel que todo hombre que tenga flujo de semen, será impuro. 3 En esto consistirá la impureza de su flujo:
»Si por causa de su flujo su miembro derrama semen, o deja de derramarlo, será impuro.
4 »Toda cama en que se acueste el que tenga flujo, será impura.
»Todo aquello sobre lo que se siente, será impuro.
5 »Cualquiera que toque su cama, lavará sus vestidos, se lavará a sí mismo con agua, y quedará impuro hasta el anochecer.
6 »Quien se siente donde se haya sentado el que tiene flujo, lavará sus vestidos, se lavará a sí mismo con agua, y será impuro hasta el anochecer.
7 »Quien toque el cuerpo del que tiene flujo, lavará sus vestidos, y se lavará a sí mismo con agua, y será impuro hasta el anochecer.
8 »Si el que tiene flujo escupe sobre quien esté puro, éste lavará sus vestidos y, después de haberse lavado con agua, será impuro hasta el anochecer.
9 »Toda montura sobre la que cabalgue el que tenga flujo, será impura.
10 »Cualquiera que toque algo que haya estado debajo del que tenga flujo, será impuro hasta el anochecer.
»Todo el que lleve ese objeto lavará sus vestidos y, después de lavarse con agua, será impuro hasta el anochecer.
11 »Todo aquel a quien toque el que tiene flujo sin haberse lavado las manos, lavará sus vestidos, se lavará a sí mismo con agua, y será impuro hasta el anochecer.
12 »Si el que tiene flujo toca alguna vasija de barro, ésta deberá ser quebrada, y toda vasija de madera deberá lavarse con agua.
13 »Cuando el que tiene flujo se haya limpiado de éste, contará siete días a partir de su purificación, y lavará sus vestidos y su cuerpo en agua corriente, y entonces será limpio. 14 A los ocho días tomará dos tórtolas o dos palominos, y se presentará ante el Señor, a la entrada del tabernáculo de reunión, y se los entregará al sacerdote. 15 Entonces el sacerdote presentará uno de ellos como ofrenda por el pecado, y el otro como holocausto. Así, delante del Señor, el sacerdote lo purificará de su flujo.
16 »Cuando un hombre tenga una emisión de semen, lavará en agua todo su cuerpo y será impuro hasta el anochecer.
17 »Toda vestidura, o toda piel sobre la cual caiga la emisión del semen, deberá ser lavada con agua, y será impura hasta el anochecer.
18 »Cuando un hombre se acueste con una mujer y tenga una emisión de semen, los dos se lavarán con agua y serán impuros hasta el anochecer.
19 »Cuando la mujer tenga flujo de sangre, y éste se quede en su cuerpo, deberá estar recluida siete días. Cualquiera que la toque será impuro hasta el anochecer.
20 »Todo lo que le sirva de cama mientras esté recluida será impuro. Todo aquello sobre lo que se siente será impuro. 21 Cualquiera que toque su cama deberá lavar sus vestidos y, después de lavarse con agua, será impuro hasta el anochecer.
22 »Cualquiera que toque cualquier mueble sobre el que ella se haya sentado, deberá lavar sus vestidos, lavarse a sí mismo con agua, y será impuro hasta el anochecer.
23 »Quien toque lo que haya estado sobre la cama o sobre la silla donde ella haya descansado, será impuro hasta el anochecer.
24 »Si alguien se acuesta con ella y entra en contacto con su menstruación, será impuro durante siete días. Toda cama donde ella se acueste, será impura.
25 »Si la menstruación de una mujer dura más días de lo acostumbrado, o si el flujo de sangre es más abundante que de costumbre, será impura mientras su flujo persista, como cuando está en sus días.
26 »Toda cama en que ella duerma mientras tenga su menstruación, será impura como la cama donde acostumbra dormir. Todo mueble en el que ella se siente, será impuro, como cuando ella está en sus días.
27 »Cualquiera que toque alguna de estas cosas, será impuro; deberá lavar sus vestidos, y lavarse a sí mismo con agua, y será impuro hasta el anochecer.
28 »Cuando la mujer quede libre de su flujo, contará siete días, y después de eso será limpia. 29 Al octavo día tomará consigo dos tórtolas o dos palominos, y los presentará al sacerdote, a la entrada del tabernáculo de reunión. 30 El sacerdote presentará uno de ellos como ofrenda por el pecado, y el otro como holocausto. Así el sacerdote la purificará delante del Señor, del flujo de su impureza.
31 »Así apartarán ustedes de sus impurezas a los hijos de Israel, a fin de que no contaminen mi tabernáculo, que está entre ellos, ni mueran por sus impurezas.»
32 Ésta es la ley para el que se vuelve impuro por tener flujo, o por tener una emisión de semen; 33 para la que tiene su menstruación y para el que tiene flujo, sea varón o mujer, y para el hombre que se acueste con una mujer en estado de impureza.
