The Burnt Offering
1 The Lord called to Moses(A) and spoke to him from the tent of meeting.(B) He said, 2 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When anyone among you brings an offering to the Lord,(C) bring as your offering an animal from either the herd or the flock.(D)
3 “‘If the offering is a burnt offering(E) from the herd,(F) you are to offer a male without defect.(G) You must present it at the entrance to the tent(H) of meeting so that it will be acceptable(I) to the Lord. 4 You are to lay your hand on the head(J) of the burnt offering,(K) and it will be accepted(L) on your behalf to make atonement(M) for you. 5 You are to slaughter(N) the young bull(O) before the Lord, and then Aaron’s sons(P) the priests shall bring the blood and splash it against the sides of the altar(Q) at the entrance to the tent of meeting. 6 You are to skin(R) the burnt offering and cut it into pieces.(S) 7 The sons of Aaron the priest are to put fire on the altar and arrange wood(T) on the fire. 8 Then Aaron’s sons the priests shall arrange the pieces, including the head and the fat,(U) on the wood(V) that is burning on the altar. 9 You are to wash the internal organs and the legs with water,(W) and the priest is to burn all of it(X) on the altar.(Y) It is a burnt offering,(Z) a food offering,(AA) an aroma pleasing to the Lord.(AB)
10 “‘If the offering is a burnt offering from the flock, from either the sheep(AC) or the goats,(AD) you are to offer a male without defect. 11 You are to slaughter it at the north side of the altar(AE) before the Lord, and Aaron’s sons the priests shall splash its blood against the sides of the altar.(AF) 12 You are to cut it into pieces, and the priest shall arrange them, including the head and the fat,(AG) on the wood that is burning on the altar. 13 You are to wash the internal organs and the legs with water,(AH) and the priest is to bring all of them and burn them(AI) on the altar.(AJ) It is a burnt offering,(AK) a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.
14 “‘If the offering to the Lord is a burnt offering of birds, you are to offer a dove or a young pigeon.(AL) 15 The priest shall bring it to the altar, wring off the head(AM) and burn it on the altar; its blood shall be drained out on the side of the altar.(AN) 16 He is to remove the crop and the feathers[a] and throw them down east of the altar where the ashes(AO) are. 17 He shall tear it open by the wings, not dividing it completely,(AP) and then the priest shall burn it on the wood(AQ) that is burning on the altar. It is a burnt offering, a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.

1 1-2 Tinawag ng Panginoon si Moises at kinausap doon sa Toldang Tipanan.[a] Inutusan niya si Moises na sabihin sa mga taga-Israel:
Kapag may naghahandog sa inyo ng hayop sa Panginoon, maghandog siya ng baka, tupa, o kambing. 3 Kung baka ang kanyang iaalay bilang handog na sinusunog, kinakailangan ay lalaking baka at walang kapintasan. Ihahandog niya ito malapit sa may pintuan ng Toldang Tipanan, para sa pamamagitan ng handog na ito ay tanggapin siya ng Panginoon. 4 Ipapatong niya ang kanyang kamay sa ulo ng bakang inihahandog niya, at itoʼy tatanggapin ng Panginoon para matubos siya sa kanyang mga kasalanan.[b] 5 Pagkatapos, kakatayin niya ang bakang iyon sa presensya ng Panginoon. 10 Kapag tupa o kambing ang iaalay ng tao bilang handog na sinusunog, kailangan ding lalaki at walang kapintasan. 11 Kakatayin niya ito sa presensya ng Panginoon doon sa gawing hilaga ng altar. At ang dugo nitoʼy iwiwisik sa paligid ng altar ng mga paring mula sa angkan ni Aaron. 12 At pagkatapos na hiwa-hiwain ito ng naghahandog, ilalagay ito nang maayos ng pari sa apoy pati na ang ulo at taba. 13 Pagkatapos, huhugasan ng naghahandog ang mga lamang-loob at mga paa, at saka ibibigay sa pari para sunugin sa altar bilang handog na sinusunog. Ang mabangong samyo ng handog na ito sa pamamagitan ng apoy ay makalulugod sa Panginoon.
14 Kapag ibon ang iaalay ng isang tao bilang handog na sinusunog para sa Panginoon, kinakailangang kalapati o batu-bato.[d] 15 Itoʼy dadalhin ng pari sa altar, pipilipitin niya ang leeg hanggang sa maputol at patutuluin ang dugo sa paligid ng altar. The Burnt Offering
1 Now the Lord (A)called to Moses, and spoke to him (B)from the tabernacle of meeting, saying, 2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: (C)‘When any one of you brings an offering to the Lord, you shall bring your offering of the livestock—of the herd and of the flock.
3 ‘If his offering is a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male (D)without blemish; he shall offer it of his own free will at the door of the tabernacle of meeting before the Lord. 4 (E)Then he shall put his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it will be (F)accepted on his behalf (G)to make atonement for him. 5 He shall kill the (H)bull before the Lord; (I)and the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall bring the blood (J)and sprinkle the blood all around on the altar that is by the door of the tabernacle of meeting. 6 And he shall (K)skin the burnt offering and cut it into its pieces. 7 The sons of Aaron the priest shall put (L)fire on the altar, and (M)lay the wood in order on the fire. 8 Then the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat in order on the wood that is on the fire upon the altar; 9 but he shall wash its entrails and its legs with water. And the priest shall burn all on the altar as a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, a (N)sweet[a] aroma to the Lord.
10 ‘If his offering is of the flocks—of the sheep or of the goats—as a burnt sacrifice, he shall bring a male (O)without blemish. 11 (P)He shall kill it on the north side of the altar before the Lord; and the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall sprinkle its blood all around on the altar. 12 And he shall cut it into its pieces, with its head and its fat; and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire upon the altar; 13 but he shall wash the entrails and the legs with water. Then the priest shall bring it all and burn it on the altar; it is a burnt sacrifice, an (Q)offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord.
14 ‘And if the burnt sacrifice of his offering to the Lord is of birds, then he shall bring his offering of (R)turtledoves or young pigeons. 15 The priest shall bring it to the altar, [b]wring off its head, and burn it on the altar; its blood shall be drained out at the side of the altar. 16 And he shall remove its crop with its feathers and cast it (S)beside the altar on the east side, into the place for ashes. 17 Then he shall split it at its wings, but (T)shall not divide it completely; and the priest shall burn it on the altar, on the wood that is on the fire.
